Calla sighed. She had a long day of training, and she felt sore all over. She was even too sore to stir up a wind to make herself feel better. She wandered into the bath house, undressed, and wandered into an empty bath. She enjoyed the peaceful quiet that was now here and sighed in happiness.
The Charis slipped into the water, sighing at the pure bliss of feeling the water on her tense muscles. She listened to the crickets' song outside, as well as the harmony the other insects created to match it. It was peaceful, and absolutely wonderful.

Amaranth sighed as she walked to the bathhouse, god what a long day. Their was so much to do, and so little time to get everything done in. She sighed and stripped, wrapping a towel around her body she opened the door to a room and smiled.

"Oh Hey Calla!"

She grinned and stepped into the water and sat down next to her.

"I hopw you don't mind me joining you."

Calla smiled at the mentor. She knew Amaranth was going to stay whether she objected or not, so she decided it was best night to fight her. Besides, she didn't object to the Siren's company.

The charis plunged herself underwater and came back up, pushing her hair out of her eyes.

"So, Lady Amaranth, how was your day?" she asked after running a hand through her wet hair.

Amaranth smiled, Calla's so adorible.

"My day was exausting, all the new techniqes i was teaching...then my own training." She sighed and her mind wandered off to that lover of hers. "And I feel horrible because I couldn't meet Adratos at the lake like we usualy meet." She sighed, oh the day was much too long.

She looked up at Calla and smiled.

"did you do anything interesting today?"

Calla shrugged.

"It actually wasn't even that interesting," she answered. "Classes were fine, but aside from the classes, nothing else really happened."

She closed her eyes and relaxed in the warm water, creating a nice, warm breeze to go along with it.

Amaranth nodded and smiled.

"Your wind magic is getting better and better...Tell me Calla, Its it Tahi who does the teaching or Kal?"

It made her curious, did Kal actually teach or was he lazy...did he make his poor little sister teach instead? Lazy Jerk.

Amaranth grinned.

"so...have you seen Lord Hermes since the ball?"

"Well...they sometimes go back and forth," she answered.

She kept her eyes closed, but flushed upon the mentioning of Hermes.

"N-no...," she responded quietly. "He is a god and has a job to do...I don't want to bother him at all."

Amaranth nodded and laughed. "Sounds like Kal to be such a lazy bum and make his little sister teach. Tch what a loser." She giggled. "I cant believe i dated him in my warrior days." Amaranth looked to Calla and frowned seeing her unhappy eexpression. "Oh Calla, you should pray to him he'll come if he loves you he'll come."

Calla quickly shook her head. "N-no...I don't want to be a bother...," she said quietly. "After all, it's already enough that he and I have been secretly meeting...if Lord Zeus finds out..." She trailed off, not needing to finish her sentence. She sighed and then tried to think of something else to talk about.

"S-so...you and Kal?" she asked. "You never told me about that before."

Amaranth frowned. "Oh Calla, I understand I know...how about i tell you another secret hmm." She looked to Calla and blushed red, going into all her romantic semi relationships. "Have I ever told you why out of all thhe gods I despise Ares the most?" She sighed. "He charmed me when I was a warrior...when Mnem was charmed by Apollo that evil god.." She took a deep breath. "I thought I loved him, he loved me...he didnt. It was obvious of coarse whhen you find him with his half sister Eris." She sighed. "I never forgave him and it took me a long time to open my heart again. What you and Hermes have is real Calla, he does care greatly for you. Secret meetings will have to suffice until the tournament when you can be together, the tournament happens on Olympus I will ask Lady Aphrodite to sit next to Hermes then you and observe together." She stated and smiled and laughed. "KAl and I well it wasnt a relationship really just two teenages wanting both hurt needing someone to vent to and confide in the relation ship grew but it was never love more like lust, in the end Kal left for missions and I became a mentor that was that, not much to tell."

Calla's face went beet red as she listened to what Amaranth said about her and Hermes. She then smiled slightly. "Oh? And who's the one who told me to never fall in love with a god?" she asked teasingly, splashing her mentor with some water. She laughed and shifted to hug the older female.

The blonde giggled. "But did you have any feelings for him at all, or was it not until you met Adratos that you finally fell in love?" she asked, poking the Siren's face.

Amaranth smirked at Calla's beat red face, it made her giggle. She smirked more and pouted. "Hey I just didn't want you to make my mistake is all." She raised her hands over her hands as a sign she gives up. She giggled and splashed water back at Calla. "No fair, hit a lady when her hands are up, tsk tsk." she joked backa nd wrapped her arms around Calla smiling. As Calla asked her question Amaranth paused and thought about it. "Kal is a friend to me, he will always be...before I met Adratos I though love was hopeless and all i'd have were feeligs of lust..I met Addy and well love did blossom...it felt like getting hit with a blast of fire across my chest, almost painful i couldnt find the feeling but when irealized it i was so happy." she smiled at Calla. "How did you fall in love with Hermes?"

When Amaranth asked that question, Calla smiled and her eyes went hazy as she began to remember a distant memory.
"It was my first year here at the Athenaeum. I've seen a few of the gods before, since they came around every once in awhile to talk to Mnem or for some other reason. I was leaving Mnem's office after talking to her about something I can't really remember, and as I was opening the door, I bumped into him. After I looked up into his golden eyes...I was hooked. But, of course being the type of person I am, I blushed and ran as fast as I could and didn't stop until I was in my room and almost about to die from killing my lungs from the sprint," she said, laughing quietly.

Amaranth smiled and listened to her story and giggled as she told it nodding and bursting into laughter. "Oh gosh i can picture that, you running away." She smiled. "So it was his eyes hm? The eyes are the widows to ones soul what did you see in his?"

Calla pondered her question, trying to think of how to explain it.
"Well...you know how when you look into a person's eyes and everything just feels so right? When I looked into his eyes...I saw warmth and comfort, though I've never spoken to him before that time. I felt completely safe, as if I didn't need anything more from life...but it also scared me at the same time, so I ran. Since then, I just admired him from afar, my admiration turning into love somewhere along the way."

Amaranth smiled as calla told the story, how like her. As she said she ran away AMA burst into laughter. "I can picture you rushing away." she smiled. "and the next time you after that was when?"

"Oh, I saw him around every once in awhile, whenever he came to talk to his warriors to ask about their progress, or if he had messages to deliver," she responded, blushing and pretending not to hear Amaranth's first comment.

The blonde girl ducked down into the water before coming up again, trying to wet her hair. "So do you have any other stories?" she asked, creating a warm breeze to get the water out of her eyes.
