The Library - Setting Empty The Library - Setting

The Library is a room on the side of the building that encompasses two stories. The shelves are as high as the ceiling with little square areas for scrolls to go in. On the other side are shelves made for the leather-bound books, but they are the minority in this library. There are wooden tables with equally wooden chairs for reading and doing work if you'd prefer the library's quiet over the Lounge and there's quills and ink at each table in case you don't have your own.

The light in the room filters from long windows in-between rows of shelves. There's also a great chandelier hanging from the ceiling that's lit at night and the possibility for lanterns if one needed some after-dark reading.

In the middle of the library is Sylipha's desk, who is the librarian and quite the hotheaded Gorgon. She is strict and will tolerate absolutely no funny business in her library. If there is only the hint if fire or water near the scrolls or books you might just wish you've never woken up that day. She may not be authorized to carry out punishments without the Mentors' knowledge but she might just have a slip of memory on a particular day.

Also note that Sylipha is slightly... prejudiced against boys.
