Calla quickly scrambled down the stairs, almost tripping and falling down them if she didn't catch herself with a wall of wind. She muttered a few things as she hurried, finally bursting into the lounge. She panted, trying to catch her breath. She looked up, catching the gaze of a familiar fourth year with very curly black hair.

"Raivynne, I'm SO sorry I'm late!" she apologized, hoping the girl will forgive her.

She had fallen asleep a few hours back and didn't wake up until only moments ago.

Raivynne looked at Calla before a smile grew on her face. She giggled at the adorable Charis before replying. "Please don't worry about it Calla, its quite alright." Rai got up and walked over to her friend and giving her a hug. "How have you been lately?"

Calla breathed a sigh of relief. She looked up at Raivynne and her spirits dropped.

"Not so well," she admitted.

She walked with the Lampad over to the couch where they sat down together. She leaned back against the couch, staring up at the ceiling. She had been getting into fights with Severa more frequently, the human calling her 'Charis' again and saying how stupid it was for her to fall for a god. Calla would usually say she doesn't know anything and storms off. Her blood started boiling as she thought of it again.

"Severa," she muttered, voicing the source of her problems at the moment.

Raivynne nodded understanding. "Oh Calla....you two still getting into fights?" She asked concerned. Severa never really did much to her, they only spoke a few words to each other. But then again Raivynne was somewhat antisocial and rarely spoke to new people...

Calla nodded. She didn't hate the warrior, but she didn't exactly like being criticized. She was also called weak quite a few times and she could barely recall any times where Severa used her name. It was just too depressing to think of at the moment. She turned to Raivynne, pushing a smile onto her face.

"So, are you and Calix going to the masquerade together?" she asked curiously.

Raivynne looked at her hands blushing. "Well he didn't outright ask me...but I'm going to assume so. So yes." She smiled then looked up at Calla. "So is a certain God going for you?"

[Guest]

Calla flushed crimson and looked down, her blonde hair falling into her face.

"I really don't know," she answered honestly. "I haven't seen him for the past month, so maybe he forgot about me...After all, he's a god. Why would he want a Charis when he could have his pick over so many different women?"

She hated saying it, but she just felt insecure about her liking the god, so she tried to keep remembering that he could drop her any moment, trying to slowly cushion the blow if it ever came.

Raivynne realized she had said the wrong thing entirely...

"Oh Calla! I'm so sorry...I'm not good at this kind of thing...I'm not used to well friends." She apologized and admitted. The other Lampades never really liked her thought she was boring, so no real friends in the Underworld. Raivynne hugged the younger girl. "So sorry."

Calla smiled and hugged her back. "It's fine. I shouldn't have said that."

She then sighed and leaned back, looking around at the lack of people in the room. She turned to face Raivynne, a small smile on her face again.

"So what are you planning on wearing?" she asked, very curious.

Raivynne smiled and blushed. "Something blue." She said feeling a little embarrassed. The reason why she chose that color was for Calix's eyes, his beautiful blue eyes. "So what are you wearing?"

Calla sighed.

"Well, I was going to pick something similar in colour like what I war to the party after the Ceremony, but Amaranth said no. She said a masquerade is meant to hide your identity, so I'd be too easily recognized. So instead, I have something that's a lavender with violet and silver," she said, adjusting her headband. "I can show it to you if you want."

"Oh please! May I see it?" Raivynne asked with smile. Curious to see Calla's dress. Hopefully it would give her an idea as to what she would wear. "Amaranth is right though, if I showed up in purple everyone would automatically know it was me.

Calla smiled and took her hand, leading her up into her room. She opened her closet after closing the door and pulled it out, holding it up to herself. She blushed as she wondered what she'd look like in something like this. She personally didn't know if she could honestly pull it off. She sighed and looked up at Raivynne, waiting for her commentary.

Raivynne smiled at the little Charis. "Awww its so pretty!" She exclaimed and walked up to it, feeling the material of the dress. "Would you try it on for me? Pretty please Calla?" Raivynne pleaded.

Calla flushed. "O-okay, but I'll need a bit of help..."

She set it gently onto her bed while she undressed and quickly slipped it on. The back of the dress dropped halfway down her back so it rested comfortably and exposed enough of her back it wouldn't get in the way of her wings. She then turned to Raivynne, standing there shyly. She looked at the mirror in her room and frowned. She didn't like the way her short hair looked with it.

Raivynne nodded and helped her into the dress. She stepped back to look at it on her.

"I must say Calla you look beautiful."She said with smile, then walked over to her to touch the girl's hair. "It would look better if you had longer hair. If you ask Amaranth I'm sure you could get those hair extension things from her." Raivynne told her not really remembering if she was talking about the right thing or not. Her totally not caring about fashion and what not.

Calla blinked and looked over at Raivynne.

"Hair extentions?" she questioned.

She wasn't that into fashion either, so she had no clue whatsoever about what the Lampad was talking about. She looked again, turning slightly. "The dress doesn't even match my wings."

Raivynne looked at her wings then to the dress. Calla was right...her wings didn't match the dress. "Well then...hmmm. What should we do about that?" She asked the Charis. Thinking about it, if only her wings were silver.

Calla puffed out her cheeks.

"Well, I'll have Amaranth fix the problem, since it's her fault I'm in this dilemma. If nothing else, I could just borrow something from her closet. Zeus Almighty knows she has every shade of blue known," she said, a teasing tone in her voice as she smiled at her friend.

[Guest]

Raivynne giggled. "Thats true, she definitely owns a hell of a lot of blue." She smiled at the Charis. "Sorry I'm of no help in this department...I have no fashion sense at all whatsover."

Calla smiled.

"No worries. Now just help me out of this thing. It's killing me," she groaned, trying to get it off.

Raivynne nodded and went over to help Calla carefully out of the dress. She turned around and handed the Charis her regular clothes then turned around to give her privacy.

Calla pulled her clothes back on, sighing happily as she felt normal again. She was never really one for dressing up anyway. She picked up the dress and set it on a hanger, hanging it in the closet once more.

"So...do you have anything picked out at all?" she asked, looking over at her as she closed the door.

Raivynne nodded. "Yes I do. I'm quite proud of myself, Amaranth didn't even help me this time." She said with a smile sitting on the floor. "Would you care to see it?"

Calla smiled. "I'd love to~" she sang, spinning before stopping and smiling at the Lampad. "I bet it looks lovely on you, and it'll definitely make Calix's jaw drop."
