"Please don't apologize" the siren replied smiling and gesturing to herself. "I don't exactly look or smell like rose water myself after my training. I heartily agree... the sooner we get to the baths the better."
"I'm ready whenever you are" she said holding up the small sack containing shampoo, soap, and other washing accessories.

Tahi smiled back at the girl, ready to go. "Then it's settled. Let's get going. Are you ready Calla?" Tahi asked, turning to her friend.

Noticing the Charis' expression was still sour over the prospect of the ball, Tahi whispered to Adonia, "She's unsure if she want's to go to the masquerade or not, because she's not too thrilled with her dress - but we'll convince her. Have you got your dress picked out?" she asked.

Adonia looked at her roomate. Yes, she had noticed the Charis's mood had been much darker than usual recently. "I wonder why she doesn't like the gown." she mused to herself before responding to Tahirah's question. "Oh yes! In fact, I just put the finishing touches on it this morning." I'm generally pleased with how it came out. How about you?"

Tahi grinned sheepishly. "I've been traveling. I didn't even know there was something going on until Calla told me!" She replied. "But I have a... ahem... rather large collection of dresses stored in my brother's closet - because the mentors have sooooo much space - so I don't think I'll have a problem with finding an outfit. Calla was going to help me pick one out right after our bath." She would also use the opportunity to convince the charis into going to the ball. "Oh!" she said, remembering. "And we don't have masks, so we're going to go out shopping sometime tomorrow. Do you want to join?"

"Goodness!" the siren giggled "it sounds like you have quite the wardrobe. I'd be delighted to join you! Thank you for inviting me! I already have all the pieces for my costume ready... except I don't have the wings finished yet... I need some more materials for that. My wing don't exactly match my dress." she said grinning sheepishly.

(( Sorry, I was really tired last night. XD; ))

Calla looked up and nodded, indicating she was ready. She normally just used the towels at the bathhouse, but she did go into her room and grab another tunic to change into afterward. She walked back out again and closed the door.

"Okay, I'm ready," she said, pushing a smile on her face.

She couldn't deny that she was still gloomy about the oncoming ball. She also was mad at herself for not being open minded about a different coloured dress, but of course, she wouldn't be the stubborn Charis that she was at times.
