"Uh..." Augustin thought and tried to find the best words.
"We were just talking about the Tournament and how close it is. After we have the chance that we will never meet again." he tried to explain himself.
"And flying is one of the most wonderful thing in the world. Thought you may..." he swallowed one "...want to try it."

Severa listened to him, looking up at the sky. She'd always stayed with her feet firmly planted on the ground, she didn't even like swimming that much, because she wasn't in control when she was in the water, the lake was in control. Severa liked, above anything else, to be in control.
Up there she wouldn't be in control. She would forfeit all grip on the situation, and that thought alone frightened more than she liked to admit. But, on the other hand, it was a once in a life-time opportunity. To see the world from a different perspective. If she lost the Tournament, she'd never see anything like it ever again. Even if she won it, there was no way to tell if she'd ever be presented an opportunity like that either.
She nodded, slowly. "Alright, I-I think I'd like to see it. But I swear to the Gods if you drop me I'll kill you myself!"
((Oh Sev, you always threaten when you're scared >.> ))

"Good then" he smiled a little. He thought the situation. He had to find a safely way to keep her.
He stood up, and waited till she do the same. He knew that if he didn't hold her on her waish, then she would broke her arm or even worse, and in the other hand that was the only solution which could benn carried our the most easy way.
"Sorry for that" he said before he took her waist "But that's the safest way." he explained.
He verified everything in a second and then pushed off themselves from the land.

Re: Skipping Stones
Severa gave a short, embarrassingly girlish squeal of surprise when he pushed off and in the air they were. She threw her arms around his neck in panic, looking down as the world became smaller and smaller, it was quite lovely, if she could get over her momentary fear.
"I meant it, if you drop me..." she hissed, though it had more of a panicking edge to it instead of being threatening.

Augustin smiled, but not noticeably. "Don't worry, I won't drop you." he answered quietly to Severa's threat.
He looked down. They were above the lake, the reflecting light slowly died. The horizon was totally orange. The Main Building and the forest became smaller and smaller. He turned a little to the right, to change dirrection.
"What would you like to see?" he sked quietly looking now to Severa's eyes.
((There's a need to a map D8))

Re: Skipping Stones
When she did swallow her fear and looked down, she gasped at the beauty. She'd never seen how huge the lake was, how it stretched far beyond the Athenaeum's boundaries! And the forest seemed endless, it made the ground of the Athenaeum look tiny!
Severa looked at Augustin, thinking. What would she like to see? She knew exactly what she wanted to see.
"Olympus. Could you get near it? Or do they not allow it?"
((Yursh, I might try to make one, but I've never done so before D: ))

Re: Skipping Stones
He was a little surprised by that demand. There was something about how close they can go.
"I belive we can't go farther than the border is" Augustin said "But we can take a look. If I remenber well, Olympus should shows up wanly if you're in the right place"
When they get near the border of Haven, he looked around. He wasn't flying high. Then he catched a sight.
"Hey, have a look at there!"
((Thank you >.<))

Re: Skipping Stones
Severa gasped, it was the only thing to do. Olympus looked amazing, even from a distance. Beautiful almost sparkling white clouds made a spiraling mountain of beautiful greek and roman based structures, with on the top a palace of the likes a Caesar would be jealous of. It must be Zeus and Hera's court.
She swore she could see plants, trees and flowers, rooted into clouds! And streets, as if these clouds were tangible, weren't whips of moisture in the sky. And lights, in the falling dusk there were lights everywhere, fires and life. She could almost hear the faraway beats of festive music, could only imagine the parties and the happenings.
And she could see the Arena.
"There, can you see it?" She freed one of her hands briefly to points in the direction of the massive amphitheater that stood on a separate mountain of clouds a couple of leagues from Olympus, surrounded by structures that Severa knew were the temporary warrior quarters where they would stay the duration of the Games.
The classical Amphitheater was on the very top of the smaller hill, it was adorned with blood-red banners depicting the symbol of the last winner, Ares' spear-and-shield symbol.
Lastly there was the party hall on the bottom, where the Gods would host parties each night for the Warriors to enjoy, though it was mostly the Gods that drank and enjoyed, and some of the Warriors that were in lower years that came to watch.
"It looks horrendously beautiful."

Re: Skipping Stones
Augustin looked to the Arena, where Severa pointed. So that was the place... Althought it was beautiful, really.
"Now it do." the difference between the Gods' place and the temporary warrior quarters was noticable. They were built really just for few days, thought somehow they looked quite cold, unfriendly how the marble glared in the last rays of the Sun.
He tried to look farther on, but strangly while Olmypus was quite visible, he couldn't see the grounds all over of other mountains didn't showed up. Probably that was only a trick of the Gods.
"I wonder what's behind."

"There is only one way to find out, isn't there?" Severa, now she got over her fear of falling, and was suppressing her fear of losing control, had to admit that flying was amazing!
Of course, it would be even better if she would be able to do so, she hated having to depend on others. But sometimes, just sometimes, it was worth it.

"But how will we get out?" he asked trying not to think about how much they're breaking the rules now.
"If whe could find a spot to get out... but noone assure that it would be in it's place when we come back." he thought loudly.
"Let's give a try?"

Re: Skipping Stones
"Let's... do so from the ground though," Severa said. If they were going to do something that they were not supposed to do, Severa preferred to do so with her feet firmly on land.
"I've heard of places that they do not want us to go. Places sacred to the Gods, it could be places where they go to relax, or where they can hide, or do... other things," she said with a light blush. "In any case, they're protected from not only us, but Haven's entire population."
"However, I've also know that there is a way to get in, if you search well enough," she had a rebellious glint in her eye. If they were so close to fighting for the Gods, might as well fight a little bit against the Gods, and their rules.
"There should be somewhat of a barrier disallowing passage, if we find it, there should also be a opening, a clink in the armor so to speak. Small imperfections in the barrier that should allow us through."

Re: Skipping Stones
Augustin slowly touched-down, and released her when they were safetly on the grounds. He looked around. The barrer didn't seemed to have any spots. He stepped closer, trying to find something.
"Do you know where we should search?" he asked. And what will we find...? His curiosity was stronger than his rule-keepind side. They didn't really could imagine what to expect if they're breaking the rules before the whole Tournament, but if noone would notice them, then they could come through on this without any problem.

Re: Skipping Stones
Severa stumbled when she hit the ground, and quickly regained balance, a bit thrown off by the flying. She walked forward with her hands extended palm-out. It wasn't long before her hands were stopped by an unseen force. But it wasn't like a brick wall, more like walking into a tightly span canvas, it gave a little bit, but nothing more.
"Here's the barrier. My slave told me about this, she said that barriers always have one point of opening, a way for the Gods or mortals chosen by gods, so to speak," Severa, no matter how Roman she was, was definitely not comfortable with the subject of sex. "to enter quickly, and inconspicuously."
She walked along the field, constantly prodding it with her hand until, somewhere, her hand fell through, almost causing her to fall with it. "Here it is!" She felt a little more around the edges, pleased to find that it was almost perfectly square, and tall enough that when she stretched her hand above her, she still could not feel where it ended.
"Well, Augustin, we're about to do something that is a complete taboo, something incredibly forbidden," she smiled when she did so, and did not hesitate to enter the field.
Where from the outside it had shown a reflection of what was on the other side, trees, and mountainside, on the inside of the forcefield it was nothing alike. she found herself next to a small marble palace, it was probably no more than a room with, what Severa would imagine to be a bed for purposes... This implied that it was a God's sacred place, or perhaps Aphrodite, but she didn't think it were.
It overlooked a small bay, an almost entire circle of sandy beach with beautiful green water lapping at the shore. It smelled unmistakingly of the sea.
"That bastard," Severa whispered. "He's built himself a private sea retreat!"

Re: Skipping Stones
He watched Severa while she found the passage, and stepped out after the girl. There were truly the sea. This was not completly what he expected from the Gods. A tiny marble palace, and the sea? That wasn't like them.
He thought it over. If more of them... no, defenetly more Gods came here. He saw not one time Hermes around, and Aphrodite was here quite often too. And Zeus of course, why would he left such an occasion? He wouldn't even been surprised if Apollo has spent not little time here, at least, he was the Highest Pristess' husband. That was totally nonsense. If the Gods liked to come to see some of them time to time in secret, then there couldn't be just one little palace.
"No, there should be something else..." he whispered. "Don't you think that's quiet strange that how many God come to the Haven quite often, but everything we find is... this?"
"And think about, would you let your palace, which is only built for..."he coughed. He hoped that Severa know what he's talking about "So, let it visible?"

Re: Skipping Stones
Severa slowly turned toward Augustin. He was right, of course, and she mentally kicked herself for not having thought of it. Of course there had to be more to it than just this. "You're right, I should have thought of that."
" This place seems to be used by more than one God, and why make it so public to other divinities yet hide it from the mortal's eye?" She walked toward the water, kneeling to pull her hand through the sand and warm water.
"But what? I can't see anything more than this, unless we aren't looking close enough..."

Augustin turned around. It should be here.
"I'm pretty sure that it isn't that complicated. They have to be easily accessible for everyone, thought not all of us can fly or breath under water. They have to be in the ground, probably hiden away with some dimension changes. I mean some Godly magic." he tried to think loudly.
"Okay, let's see..." he mumbled "There isn't enough place here for that many palace, they had to break the space" he slowly stepped near the water.
"I think we're seaching this" he pointed away, with the line of the water.
