Calla laughed and hugged Adonia's arm. "Come on, let's just get back to the room and go to bed~" she stated. She reached up, pulling the hairsticks out and letting her now-long blonde hair fall around her shoulders.

Calla hummed as they left the temple and out into the night. She drew up a small breeze, swirling it around with warm air so they weren't so cold in the chilled night. She pushed her hair behind her ear so it would stop falling in her face.

Adonia, enjoying the breeze Calla had summoned, saw her push her hair back. "Pardon my asking," she said hesitantly."but do my eyes betray me or was your hair shorter before tonight?" she asked.

Calla sighed. "Well, Lady Amaranth decided she would take it upon herself to make my hair longer for the ball, so she used something called hair extentions the humans from future times came up with," she explained. "And now my hair is just very annoying to deal with."

Adonia cocked her head as if curious. Her hair had been super long as long as she could remember, so she had never thought of it as a nuisance.
"Hair extensions" she mused looking at her own hair. "Hmm... I probably have enough already" she said with a laugh.

Calla sighed. "To be honest...I hate my hair long. But if I cut it......well, I'll REALLY be in for it...," she admitted.
Her long hair made Calla look more and more like her mother, and it frightened her. She didn't want to talk about it, and that was evident on her face.

Noticing her friend's panicked look Adonia was hesitant to ask, but, after a moment, said "I hope I'm not being too forward... but w-what is it your so afraid of?"
