Thymos smiled as he stared up at the horse next to him. The poor beast had been trying to get the apple that the pegasus was holding, only for the boy to pull it away as the horse snapped. Of course, he could have just given the horse the fruit, but what was the fun in that? No, he wanted to make sure that the horse suffered first.........
"Stupid animal," Thymos said, teasing the creature as he walked around the stable, the horse stretching for the apple still, "Stupid, stupid animal. I suppose you're just like me, hm? Except, I have wings, and you're just a stupid, land animal..."
He gave in, throwing the apple into the stall, watching as the horse attempted to move around in order to pick it up. He smirked, leaning back against the wall, enjoying the scene before him.

Adelphie was just walking outside when it began to pour. Not just rain, no it came down in buckets! This was a rare event since the weather in the Athenaeum was divinely regulated, but it was probably some God who thought it funny if they'd all get drenched.

In any case she ran quickly into the nearest building she found, the stables. In the few seconds she was out in the cold rain she'd got entirely drenched, and dang was that rain cold! Entering the stables was like bliss!

"Was that really necessary?!" She yelled toward the doorway, hoping the deity in question would hear it, before she attempted to squeeze the water from her hair. "Totally uncalled for," she mumbled irritated, before noticing there was someone else in the stables. Well someone other than the horses and other mounts.

"Oh, hello," she said as she watched the boy. She'd seen him around, but never had talked to him before. She'd heard he talked funny though. "I don't think we've met, I'm Adelphie."

Thymos raised an eyebrow at the girl, who was soaked down to the skin. "Hey there, girl!" he said, adopting the most innocent expression he could muster, "Wazzup now? Raining cats 'n dogs, ain't that rite? Betta' stay in here, if ya wanna keep dry!"
After years of chilling with Zeus, he knew how to act innocent. Praying that the girl didn't notice his previous actions, he bent down, grabbing her hand to kiss it. "I'm Thymos, and you're quite lovely."

"Cats and dogs, I don't see them come down," Adelphie glanced behind her, but it was really just raining.. well... rain. They weren't exaggerating when they said he talked funny.

Adelphie allowed her hand to be kissed, living in the Athenaeum her whole life with its strange people, she'd gotten kind of used to it.

"And you're quite girly, what were you doing in here?"

Thymos twitched, moving back a couple steps. Bahahahahahaaa, he thought, smirking at the girl. "Hey, hey, hey!" he held up his hands in defense, "I wuz just 'scaping the rain, like you! There ain't nothin' wrong for not wanting to get wet!"
Moving over to the horse from earlier, he picked up the apple from the ground and held it out for the horse, "Then I saw these beautiful creatures, an' thought I would hang out here for a bit. You dun mind, do ya?"

"I wasn't accusing you of anything, so there is no need to get all defensive," Adelphie told him, crossing her arms and leaning against a stall. "It was but a question."

She moved over to the same horse and petted its neck. "It's not for me to approve or disapprove, the stables aren't mine, well," she grinned. "They aren't technically mine. You're a pegasus, aren't you?"

"Either that or you're a very flat-chested Charis, and to be honest, I'm not quite sure which it is."

Thymos fell back dramatically, clutching his heart. "Now that hurt, doll," he said, grinning, "Way to hit a guy below the belt...." Standing up straight, he ran a hand through his hair, bits of electricity escaping.

"I ain't no Charis, but I'm a pegasus. Course, I could transform for ya, but that would be lot's o' work, and I like it when ma wings are 'party size'...." Thymos leaned forward, teasingly, "And they ain't the only thing that likes parties.... if ya get what I mean."

Once again Adelphie raised an eyebrow. "Are you suggesting that your... tool... is tiny too? Poor boy, nature didn't do well for you did it," she said mockingly innocent, with a mischievous lint in her eyes.

"In any case, you do look like a girl, with the hair and the headband, and you simply have a girlish face. I don't lie, I only speak the truth. Well," she flashed a grin. "I do not lie often."

"Ya ain't a liar....." Thymos said, "But ya do tease me like hell......but...." he leaned even closer, their faces inches apart, "I heard that when a kid likes another kid, they'll tease 'em to show their affection."

Stepping back, he shrugged. "And hey, who can resist the beauty of an angel like me? None of the girls back at the hood could stand to reject this!"

"Unless ya wanna take it slow. I'm cool with that too," he was grinning, loving this word game they were playing. It wasn't often that he had such a.... talented partner.

"Yes, let's take it slow. Let's take it reeeeeal slow, almost like it's not moving. At. All." Adelphie said, accentuating the last words.

"But if you want to be the Titanic, be my guest. I'd love to kick your ass and watch you drown," she said with a mocking peppy tone. It was fun, playing this game with the boy, though she really did think he was one weird kid.

"Damn, now that ain't nice, hun," Thymos shook his head, laughing, "After I've been so nice to ya, an' everythin', and ya just diss me like that?"
He looked at her, with puppy dog eyes, "Throw a dog a bone. Ma ego's taking too many blows, I may KO, faint, lose consciousness. And I don't have any revives in my bag to boost ma HP back up!"

"Well, puppy, you were definitely asking for it," Adelphie said, dismissing all the talk about 'revives' and 'HP', she didn't understand them, and wasn't sure she wanted to know in the first place.

"How old are you anyway, you look like a first year, and act like a first year, but I know for a fact that you're not in my year. Are you sure anyone is Sponsoring you? I'd pity the God foolish enough to do so," she flicked his forehead with her finger, still grinning.

Rubbing his forehead, he smiled. "Fourth year, and Zeus is ma homeboy. We go like... way back, man, way way back. Back to like..... the dinosaurs!" He crossed his arms, giving a very gangsta-like pose.

"You're so very obviously lying, Zeys would never invest time in the likes of you," Adelphie said. "And you're not 18, you can't be 18, you look far too young!"

"Also Zeus wasn't even born in the time of the Dinosaurs, that was the Titan's time, did you not pay attention in your history lessons? Amateur. I am a true warrior of Zeus', don't let him hear that you're pretending to be his!" She warned, actually believing that he's lying. Her Zeus would never sponsor a fool like Thymos.

"Thanks for the compliment, girl, but I really am 18...." Thymos leaned against the stall, smirking, "And I really am Zeus's warrior too...... learned my magic from him."
Immediately after saying that, the air cracked, a bolt of lightning striking down next to Adelphie. It left a large burn on the ground, the area charred. Ready to strike again, Thymos stopped, controlling himself. It was too dangerous to use his magic when he didn't have CA out.....

"Ee!" Adelphie cried, jumping a mile away from where the lightning hit, or, half a meter. "Shit! Asshole, what did you do that for!" She yelled, shaking her hand which had gotten some of the current.

"Be careful with those things! If it had hit any hay this whole place would have gone up faster than lord Zeus can shoot them!" She scolded, trying to calm the horse standing closest to them, which had gone in a panic.

"You'd think someone would know better!"

Thymos was grinning like a madman, the panic of the horses exciting him. Slowly, his sadistic side was showing, and he laughed.
"Fine, fine," he said, "I won't shoot anymore of 'em....... but I am a bit reckless....."

Adelphie took a step back from Thymos, subconsciously feeling that he wasn't entirely... sane at the moment. Something about him wasn't quite right, but she couldn't point it out.

"Well I think that bit was obvious. In any case what is done is done. I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't shoot things at me anymore, okay?"

She was getting over the shock, and her mischievous side was coming back again. "Or else I might really have to make you go Titanic."

Jack was looking for his conscious...Well his physical conscious anyways. Braelyn had flown into the rather large building to avoid the rain because he didn't like getting his feathers wet and he had flown off with Jacks pendent....Jack wanted his pendent back! "As soon as I get hold o' yer, then you'll know" he mumbled angrily, stepping lightly on the creaky floor. There were strange noises coming from the pens here and (by observation earlier) there was a floor below this one. Jack felt he had climbed up to the rafters but obviously that was wrong...since if he was in the rafters the fall would have been longer and more fatal. Stepping on a particulary weak piece of floor, he fell almost cleanly through with a curse and a yell. However a rope had being unravelling and tightened around his foot, making the pirate dangle by his left ankle upside down, just above a pair of other people. Gravity pulled his hair in front of his face and his various beads, trinkets and necklaces hung in front of his face, were he eyed them skeptically.

The rain fell and the snakes were not amused. At all. Galene had been training a little bit more, like she did everyday. She was actually expecting to find somebody else just like that other girl, Aimée that had faced her in her own whip pratice. But when she heard the storm coming, she just had to ignore, didn't she?

Gosh, stubborn... this must be a punishment from the gods.

She ran to the nearest building, the stables, ignoring who ever was inside. The rain had glued her dress on her body and the snakes hissed, disliking the wet water on them. She soon, reached and started to squeeze the excess of water out of her dress when she heard some voices. Well, they were right before her, weren't they? She looked up and saw two humans... or at least, one human. A girl and a pegasus boy arguing over something she didn't get it.

She remained quietly, trying to dry her dress while her snakes hissed loudly.
