"Can I eat it now?...Now?....Is it ready yet? How about Now? Now?" Calix continued to repeat his questions over and over as he sat waiting for his special treat to be ready. Having been rather healthful the last new days in cleaning the mess hall and gathering fruit from the forest, the staff of the kitchen decided it would be a good way to thank the nine foot centaur with one of his favorites...a strawberry short cake.

They laughed at his eagerness trying to rush as best they could as he moved about anticipating what was to come his way. It was half an hour before the cake was brought out and set before him, his eyes lighting up like the fourth of July as he eyed the four layer cake. "All this for me???" He Beamed taking up his fork beaming and eager to eat it.

Amaranth sighed as she walked through the halls of the Athenaeum, not in the mood to cook but smelling something delishous comming from the mess hall...something sweet. Ama walked in and blinked seeing her nine foot centaur friend. "Calix!" She grinned and walking over to him and looking to the strawberry shortcake and smiling and sitting down looking to the servants and smiling as they got to work on making her something to eat too. How are your classes going?"

Calix perked to his name being called, moving to peek over the cake to her and smiling with a wave "Hello Miss Amaranth. How are you this day?" he smiled moving to dig in with a moan. "Would you like some?" He beamed .

"Classes are classes...they go well thank you" he smiled. "How are things with Addy?"
