Well, what has to be done is going to be done.

Cedric rushed towards the old doll that was impaled in a stick for training. It was a static figure with several sticks, coming out, similar to those dolls that students in imperal China and Japan used to train on. He was using his barefists, while his old sword was sticked on the ground near by. He punched the figure, blocking the sticks with his higher speed granted by his Lord Hermes.

He didn't spend to much time in the training square since he didn't like to fight much. He thought it wasn't useful but when he was at athenaeum at such long time.... he better train. And train hard since he haven't done nothing but study since he got there.

He dogded or blocked the sticks from the doll, punching it hard as his glasses where slipping through his nose.

Sylphie was passing by the Training Square. She heard someone practicing, so she stopped walking. She couldn't really tell who it was, although the air felt familiar. But from the sound of it, the person must be practicing really hard with a training doll. She's quite impressed.

Cedric felt observed somehow and turned his face to see the charis he hadn't seen in a long time: Sylphie.

"Oh, Miss Sylphie!" he said, stopping with the training and cleaning up some sweat as he walked towards her. He wasn't in his formal clothing this time, just some torn shirt and bandages on his fists, almost with the most simple pair of pants. "I haven't seen you in a while."

"Oh Cedric, it was you," Sylphie said when she heard his gentle voice.

She certainly missed him, although they haven't met or talked much. It's her own fault for not being out and about, though. But the time she had spent with him was precious to her.

He must be sweating, so she dug into her pouch and took out a handkerchief, offering it to him, "I'm sorry I didn't bring any water..."

Sylphie suddenly felt like she wanted to know how he's been.

"How are you?"

Cedric bowed to the lady and accepted her handkerchief with a smile "Thank you." he cleaned but the sweat from his face and placed the little cloth in his pocket "I will return it as soon as it's clean again." he took her hand to give a small kiss as usual.

He perked at her question "Oh, I'm good. Thought I could do some training since I do nothing... and how about you, Miss Sylphie?" he replied with a gentle smile.
