Re: Hestia's Temple
"No problem," Kai said and smiled. The Hestia Mentor seemed nice, but then againt Hestia was nice as well, she didn't expect the girl to be evil.
"I was just leaving anyway, thanks for everything Mnem," she added as she started to walk out of the temple. "Bye Tahi."

Re: Hestia's Temple
"It was a pleasure Kai, you're very welcome," Mnemoyne turned back to Tahi, a look of worry on her face. There was only one thing this was about, and Mnem didn't want to have to lie for Kal, but she didn't see much else of a choice. She'd help Tahi as much as she could.
"Do you want to sit down Tahi?" She motioned to the benches in the mid-section of the temple.
((I love Zeus, but that may be because this Zeus is close to my Zeus. Mnem doesn't like him because of Adell, but Adelphie absolutely adores him.))

"Good bye Kai - I'm sure we'll be seeing more of each other soon." Tahi said as the girl left.
Nodding in response to Mnem's question, they sat down. Tahi paused for a minute, biting her lip, wondering how best to begin. Well - no point beating around the bush she supposed. "Kal's been avoiding me lately, and when he's around he's been acting... out of character, I guess. I've tried using the winds to figure out what's going on, but he's blocking my magic, and I'm worried... I've never seen him like this before... Do you know anything about what's happening?"

Mnemosyne sighed. She couldn't tell Tahi the truth, that was a story not hers to tell, and she didn't know the full of it anyway. But she was a terrible liar, she hated it.
"I'm... not sure Tahi," she answered slowly. "I've been noticing his peculiarity as well, and I have a feeling that I may know what is going on, but it is his story to tell, not mine."
But she was worried about Tahi too. This boy, if he would be able to upset Kal into this restless behaviour, what kind of boy was he? And how would he act towards Tahi?
"What do you think Tahi, do you have any idea what could unsettle him like this?"

Re: Hestia's Temple
Tahi ran her fingers through her hair absentmindedly. The gesture was comforting.
Mnem knew something. That much was sure - but it wasn't her story to tell. How many times had Tahi herself used that line on other people? But now all she really wanted was to know - to hades with ethics.
Tahi bit her lip again, thinking. "He's never shut me out like this before. There were only a couple of times that came close. Once when I caught him having a 'sleepover' with Amaranth when I was twelve." Tahi blushed at the memory... "I think that was the only time..." She paused, thinking a little harder.
"No. Wait. There was one other time - it was so long ago I had nearly forgotten. It was when I wanted to meet our father. It was right after he rescued me. I wanted to meet my real father. I think I thought that he'd love me the way my foster father did - before... And I was lonely..." Tahi looked at Mnem - her eyes searching for the dryad's reaction. "This has something to do with our father, doesn't it?"

Re: Hestia's Temple
Mnemosyne blushed a bit about the Amaranth and Kal comment, being generally a little shy about that kind of thing, but she had very little time to think about it, the next bit caught her red-handed.
Mnem's eyes were as readable as a book, and these eyes betrayed her once again. Her mouth opened and closed a few times, should she say something, or shouldn't she?
"Tahi..." She started. "You really shouldn't hear this from me..." She reached out for the girl's hand. "You know that I see you as a daughter of my own Tahi, please trust me when I say that it isn't I who should be telling you this," she pleaded.

Re: Hestia's Temple
From Mnem's reaction - Tahi knew she hit the nail on the head. It was something about her father, something personal. And Mnem - noble person that she was, wasn't about to get involved. Tahi nodded, understanding.
"It's okay, Auntie - I understand. I guess I'm just going to have to track him down and confront him. Thank you for talking with me." She hugged the dryad.
"Do you have any idea where he might be?" Tahi frowned. Tracking him down was going to be difficult if he was blocking her...

"Gods, I don't know, you know how your brother is. He took his kite and just went." Mnem thought about it a little, it was true Kal was unpredictable at times, but logic would know the way.
"I don't believe he'll still be in Haven, in the mood he was in he would have wanted to be as far from the Gods as possible. So I would try for the mortal world, perhaps a place he knows well? You know him better than I do."
She smiled at the girl- no, woman, she oughtn't think about her as a girl anymore. "You'll find him, I am certain. Just try to not be away for too long, you've got a class to teach now."

Re: Hestia's Temple
Tahi thought, for a second.
"I know a couple of places he might go if he was in a bad mood. But I'd hate to miss the rest of the party~ Esiodos only comes once a year - and if he did lose his temper he probably needs some alone time anyways. I'll find him - before classes start." She winked. "I'm going to try to bring some respectability back to the wind magic class. I won't forget."
"Shall we go back to the party?" Tahi said. "I've already met one of the new mentors, and... wow... he's handsome."

Re: Hestia's Temple
((A demi-god with -5 magic... XD weapons are his forte, but I don't think that'll really help him against wind... If he touched Kal then he'd be able to use his ability on him *evil laugh*))

((Well he's touched Tahi... But somehow I don't think Eos would use his ability on her... But that is one of the strengths of wind magic - it's got a very long range...))

Re: Hestia's Temple
((fff I realize... He also touched Alkaia *more evil laughter*, and no he probably wouldn't use his powers on the girls. He just needs to b-slap Kal once wihtout his gloves on.... XD))

Re: Hestia's Temple
((Hmm... i doubt Kal would ever let him get the chance. But we'll see... If Eos would explain to Kal that he doesn't like Zeus much and isn't trying to brainwash Phrixos and Tahi - I think Kal would get along with him much better...))

Re: Hestia's Temple
((I think so too, but I don't think Kal is going to give him the chance to explain himself either.))

((Noo - but if Eos explained to Tahi, and Tahi explained to Kal, Kal would probably give him a chance... There we go --> solution!))

Re: Hestia's Temple
((XD Nice solution - Wanna work on it? =3= Eos: *waits in ballroom for Tahi* ... then she could find out he's a Zeus-y and Be all D: and he'll be like =3= Zeus sucks, amazing descriptive skills.))

Re: Hestia's Temple
"Alright, I'll leave it to you then, do try to find him, that fool has got me worried now," Mnemosyne said with a tired smile.
"Oh really, who is i-" the smiled froze on her face. "Oh good Gods," she muttered. "Tahi, don't ket Kal see you with him, your brother... really doesn't like Eos."

Re: Hestia's Temple
Tahi smiled playfully. "Mnem - Kal doesn't like any boy near me. He's just going to have to deal with the fact that I'm a grown woman now and can make my own choices." She laughed, and exited the temple - not even waiting for her Aunt to catch up and explain.
