"Well, I haven't seen many female centaurs around but I believe they are as pretty as any girl." she said with a neutral look and a shrug of shoulders. She usually didn't see people so she didn't know how feminine they were. She just think it was normal.

At Ruairí's sentence, she blinked her eyes several times and raised her eyebrows in confusion. "What? I don't understand what you are saying..." she mumbled lightly, completely confused. Some of what down what?

"Oh, right, sightless," he kept forgetting that. "I hope so, because it would be seriously weird if they were manly. I don't really like my women manly. Then again, I don't like my women half-animal either," Ruairi said, shaking his head in disgust. Weird Greeks, weird.

"I am saying that, even though you could have been a lot nicer, are not too bad to talk to. Once, you know, you stop threatening me and your hostility is turned of."

Galene nodded and then glared at him, even though he didn't see it "Well, technically I'm half? Well, a bit animal due to the snakes." she said, a bit angry that he was so apreensive to half animals.

"Oh I see..." she contained a smile, instead, placed her hands behind her back and squeezed them lightly. "Thank you. Like I said, everybody has some goodness in their hearts."

"That doesn't count! I mean it's just your hair, although don't get me wrong, I do think it's a little freaky," Ruairi said. Women were always so easily offended, it was like walking through glass sometimes.

"Some are just better at showing it, right?" He gentle elbowed her arm, keeping his eyes on the snake if, you know, they'd bite his eye or something. Padraig stayed by the water, of course now the dog chose to be cowardly, useless thing.

"I guess it won't be the first nor the last time I will hear that, so it's fine..." she said, although inside she never liked to be called a freak. Being a gorgon was enough.

But his cheeful reaction made her loosen up a bit and she made the faintiest of smiles and the snakes that were near Ruairí simply smelled the hair a bit more relaxed, now the dog wasn't barking. "Yeah, I believe so... I'm not one of those."

"Nah, you just haven't had the right influence, is all!" Ruairi said with a laugh, although his eyes did stay with the snake. He rather liked his eyeballs after all. "And you need to smile more often, that's a must."

"Alright, just to be clear, when you look at me, I turn to stone right? Not if I look at you, or does it go both ways?" You could never be too certain when it comes to stone-turning.

One of the snakes bumped into him in a friendly way making Galene take a small step away just to keep the distance. The snake wasn't going to bite him but Galene liked to have her distance. "I've been told that too... but sometimes there aren't many reasons to smile..."

At Ruairí's new question, Galene remained thoughtful for a second and then replied "Whoever looks directly to my eyes, turns into to stone... but I've never tried to make an indirect contact with people, I'm too scared." she mumbled.

"Woah, buddy, stay away from the eyeballs!" Ruairi stepped back from the snake at the same time the snake-lady did. "I suppose I don't entirely like them snakes either, are your poisonous?" His voice broke a bit in the end there, making him cough a bit to cover it up.

"Hey, lady, don't go saying those things, there's plenty to smile about up and around, only when you don't want to see it is when you don't." Oh shit, she didn't see. "Or, ehm, hear, that is."

"Ah, good to know you're not manevolent and all. But how come the guard-dude and the library-lady don't wear blindfolds?"

((So you know, long word = purposely mis-spellt, as Ruairi's still an idiot xD))

Galene nodded in response to the male's question "Yes, they are. But they aren't going to bite you.. actually, they trust people too easily.." she said with a small sigh. They were already used to Jack and soon they were going to get used to Ruairí.

"Well, when everything goes the opposite way you wanted them to be, how do you expect me to be? Happy?" she growled lightly and turned her look a bit away before replying to his next question.

"They wear sunglasses... but I simply don't like them.." she mumbled.

"Oh, so the like me?" Ruairi asked, not really differentiating between trusting and liking. "I don't blame them, I'm very easy to like." He puffed up his chest in bride like a buffoon, boasting in his likability.

"Wait, so you could wear sunglasses and see the world, but you wear a blindfold just for the fun of it?! You make no sense rainbow pony!"

"I'd expect you to shrug your shoulders like you've been doing quite a lot and move on, you know, have a little fun in your life. Go running through the fields, go for a wild horse-ride, go skinny dipping! In fact, I'd like to see you skinny dipping very much," he laughed and elbowed her gently again.

"Yeah right. The fact it's not you, they like rainbow pony in general and trust them way easier then I do." she said with a shake of her head.

"Well, that way I hope not to judge people from what they look. I prefer personality, you see? Either way, I can see nature's beauties without any problem and sunglasses just don't fit me..." she said and perked at him words, glaring a bit.

"Well, you won't see me skinny dipping that soon. Not with you or anybody around." she said, crossing her arms in front of her chest.

"Naaah, it's totally me!" he said, extending his hand to one of the snakes to smell, like you did to dogs. "But they ain't too bad either, as long as they stay away from my eyeballs.

"Is there really nothing you could do? There a lot of power magic-stuff around here, perhaps you could ask Morph, he'd probably know something. He's smart and all," and scary, so very scary, Ruairi added in his mind. "I just wanna see your eyes, I'm sure they'd be pretty. Deadly things are usually pretty.

"Aaaaw, why not? You're way too stiff for your own good," Ruairi said it in jest, he'd never expected her to say yes and rip her clothes off. He's not THAT stupid.

He sat on the ground, tired of standing, and lowered his head down on the grass, folding his arms behind as a cushion. The stars really were pretty herer. He patted the ground next to him. "Come on, the stars are prettier when you don't have to break your neck to see them."

"Besides," he added cheekily. "I think you'd be very pretty skinny dipping."

The snake smelled the hand with her tongue and then gave another friendly bump in order to get a nice stroke of his hand. "You wished. They did the same with Jack." she said with a sigh.

"Well, there is magic, of course. But it has it's consequences and using it everyday it's tiring for my body. For any body, actually. I only use it on special days." and then she looked up to him with a small frown "The last rainbow pony that wanted to see my eyes, ripped my blindfold and turned into to stone." she felt like breaking but a deep breath made her stable.

"I'm not. I just like to have my privacy, Mister." she said, abruptly before hearing him move and pat the ground. She sighed and sat down, looking up.

"Don't look into my eyes now..." she asked as she took off her blindfold to gaze the stars while she layed down.

"Woah! Even heard of curiosity killed the cat, snake lady?" Ruairi's own curiosity was already tingling when she rainbow ponies it. "That's just evil, okay, not looking in the eyes," He looked at the sky, only looked at the sky, totally not even thinking of looking in the petrifying eyes. Nope, totally not.

"Oh, I don't know much about magic, all I know is I can do this cool fwoosh thing with water. Too bad that you can't do that, it would suck to not be able to look at people without, you know, killing them. But I'll not follow the example of the rainbow pony." Totally not even thinking about looking into her eyes.

"Damnit rainbow pony!" frustration, he wanted to look in her eyes, see if they were pretty, deadly things were always pretty.

"It's not my fault that I was born a gorgon, okay?" she said with a sigh, looking at the million of stars in the sky. She was happy that the sky, the sea and the fields wouldn't turn into stone when she looked at it. That way she would get pretty frustrated with life.

"So you can control water? You can make some neat things with it." she said, her eyes fixed on the sky. "I can only control fire... it's a pretty magic too. And please, don't follow him... I can say he was love-stoned." she mumbled this last part, almost to herself.

As Ruairí suddenly yelled in frustration, Galene restrained herself from looking at him. "They are yellow... just like the snakes." she said, referring to her eyes.

"Hey, I'm not accusing, just keep your eyes on the sky, okay?" It was quite pretty up there, even Ruairi could appreciate it from time to time. Of course he'd used the starts to get rainbow ponies plenty of times, rainbow ponies fools they were sometimes, but alas.

"Yup, I can make it make pretty patterns, and little balls of it, it's quite cool. I couldn't do that at home." He sighed, he did miss home. "Fire? I like Fire, it's certainly pretty, and quite dangerous and neat."

Ruairi snorted at her love-stoned rainbow ponies, which he'd gotten quite well. Of course he didn't actually get the meaning behind it. "Love-stoned, that's a good one, poor guy, who was he actually?"

"Oh," he quieted a little. Yellow, like a snakes. "And slitted? All cool-like?"

"Sure, wasn't going to take them out of it... It's way prettier..." she mumbled with a small smile as she watched the stars shine against the darkness of the sky.

"Yes, dangerous indeed. Who plays with fire, gets burnt. But I've learned how to master it and I can make some neat figures with it." she said, snapping her fingers to make a small flame appear and disappear.

Her smile fainted quickly and she squeezed her hands against each other over her chest. "He loved me and I loved him..." she mumbled, again almost to herself."

She nodded in response to his question. "Slitted indeed."

"I bet we could be a good team, fire and water," Ruairi said with a smile. "Hot and cool right?"

"Oh..." He answered to her rainbow ponies. "You loved him, is that why you came here?" He asked curious. "So he was fool enough not to believe you about your eyes? Or was he just so curious that he couldn't help himself?"

He nudged her gentle with his elbow. "You'll love again, you see. Maybe someone who's not that stupid."

"If I could produce lava, we would make earth, you know?" she said, shaking her head from how silly it sounded.

"I came here because Lady Amphitrite didn't like to see me suffering... besides I have this illusion that I will be able to see if I win the tournam-ent." she said with a small frown. "He was not stupid... he loved me for who I am and was. Some stupid water nymphs trigged his curiosity and he was sneaky enough to take out my blindfold."

"For that we'd need.... someone with earth magic right?" Ruairi felt right proud that he'd thought of that himself, wasn't lava like hot earth? Wasn't it? "But we could make steam, and that's pretty impressive!"

"Must be a nice lady, Amf, amfee, that Lady." Ruairi thought a rainbow ponies. "If he'd lvoed you for who you are, he would have respected your snakey-ness and not let a few nymphs trick him into losing you and himself. That, to me, is stupid."

"Steam is really nice already. If we had wind we could make some pretty figures with it." she said, resting her hands over her chest.

"She is a nice lady, the one that can tame Poseidon actually." she said and frowned "He was curious... too curious. And it wasn't his fault. The nymphs were jealous of me."
