What do you do with a drunken sailor early in the morning? Empty What do you do with a drunken sailor early in the morning?

Jack lay awake on his back looking up at the sky. He'd been doing it alot recently but in his drunken state he wasn't doing it for sentimental reasons...he just thought the stars looked pretty. The pirate tried to remember why he was down here, in this small secluded beach near the lake, nestled in its banks...relax maybe...Well he did have a mulitude of glass bottles around him, some buried in the sand, some upright, some flat, other smashed where he had thrown them, but all were drained of their previous contents. The bottles varied in size and colour, some were eleborately designed while others were just simple vessels of glass.

Hiccuping with a daft, wicked smirk on his face his skin was alluminated by the small fire that sat burning fiercly a few yards away that had been made of spilt alcohol and the flame from his lantern. Ramming a bottle in his mouth he almost choked on the rum that burned pleasantly down his throat even though his brain couldn't comprehend the flavour anymore. Downing it in one he took it back out with a 'pop' and the few dregs of alcohol dropped into his eyes, making him squint. Jack had taken his damaged eye out which is something he could do, but didn't normally because he couldn't be bothered, his retina was severed so he could freely take it out and put it in. Putting the bottle close to his eye, he peeked inside and frowned. "Why is the rum gone?" Then he threw it lazily where he heard it thud into the sand and dragged a hand down his face. "Why is the rum always...gone?"

Truth be told, Jack was a heavyweight drinker. It had made him a lot of money so it was a skill he took great pride in but he had to get into the swing of things again since he had gotten a little rusty since he hadn't had a decent drink during his stay here. Give him half an hour and he'd be sober as a nun and ready to go again. He had a whole crate so there was no rush. Drunken shanties followed as Jack danced around the beach, avoiding the glass and falling over his own feet at times.

"I'll wait for you till I turn blue
There's nothin' more a man can do
Don't get your bollocks in a twist
Settle down, don't take a fit
Ya drank with demons straight from Hell
They almost nearly won as well
Ya wiped the floor with victory
Then puked until you fell asleep

Blackened was the banshee's wail
These boot will never fill her jail
So you crawled into an empty boat
For the Gulf of Mexico
Till Cortez came an' when so did you
From the ashes charred and blue
Smellin' like a Salty Dog
Back from Hell where you belong

Anarchy, the scourge of every sea
The Antichrist aboard a rig
With us your cutthroat thieves
The ship went down we all near drowned
Ya stood there on the deck
Till the Spanish came and flogged yer arse
And dragged you from the wreck

They threw a rope around yer neck
To watch you dance the jig of death
Then left ya for the starvin' crows
Hoverin' like hungry whores
One flew down plucked out yer eye
The other he had in his sights
Ya snarled at him, said leave me be~~"

The pirate paused, reached for his eye that was laying on his discarded eye-patch and threw up up to catch it.

"I need the bugger so I can see!"

((Well, since no-one else has replied, I might as well have Adonia stalk her boyfriend XD feel free to ignore me if you like >w>))

Adonia was strolling along the beach, as she often did at night. She had been sleeping much better thee days, thank to Iva's medication, but on occasion she choose to forgo her sleep and walk the beaches for the stillness... only tonight, the beach was not so still. In the distance, she could hear an awful lot of drunken whooping and singing going on. She grinned to herself. It had to be Jack.

She had never seen Jack truly drunk (though she knew he often was), so she decided to sneak up on him and take a look. She followed the sound to a small hidden beach, and sat, hiding in the tall grass and watching him dance about. She couldn't help but giggle, with that melodic tone she had, hoping he would not hear. He really was an odd one, but she couldn't help but love him for it.

She did vaguely wonder what it was he was tossing around, but dismissed that in favor of policing her urge to hum along with the tune he sang -it was a tune she knew, though she had never known the words- as she sat and watched him.
