[Achlys Adonia Argyris]

Adonia sat out on a small island in the lake. She had walked to the lake earlier that day with her sketch and studying supplies as she often did after a particularly long day. he had tired of her usual perch hidden in the willows though, and had instead opted to walk across the lake, using her water magic to make the surface solid where she stepped.

She had spent the entire afternoon there, but now it was sparkles... it had been sparkles for quite some time. She had made a small fire to continue her studying and sketching... but eventually had tired of both and, instead, lay down to look at the night sky where the stars were just beginning to appear.

As she lay there, she let her mind drift off to wherever it might. As her mind wandered, though, so did her usual barriers. She opened her mouth and with a voice that could only be described as that of silver and crystal bells, began to sing, ever so softly.

((Yes I know... she lives around Greece and sings Irish folk stuff... I dunno I just like how sad they sound XD Anyway, beware if your character is male and answers this thread. Adonia's voice is known to make men either obsessively infatuated... oooor just makes them go insane.... Its a bit too potent of a siren voice ^^; he he for the first time in four years, she's forgotten to keep her mouth shut =3=))

Seti was laying in the garden, when she heard something beautiful... and strangely magnetic. She stood up before she even thougth about doing anythign, adn found herself followin gthe beautiful sound.

She stumbled out of the trees and into the clearing near the lake. She realized someone was singing, a siren? Wow, she always wanted to meet a siren! But she found that whoever was singing was on the little island int he middle of the lake...

But dhe knew the song, scarborough fair... it was supposedly about a fairy knight who asked immpossible things of his human lover... so she sang it as a soft round with whoever had started.

Adonia's ears twitched as she heard the sound of a voice... no two voices singing in a round... only to discover, with a sharp jolt, that one of the voices was her own. She clapped a hand over her mouth and sat up rapidly cutting off the sound of her voice.

She sat there a moment breathing rather heavily. How could she have been so stupid? What if there had been a man around? What if there still was? Her eyes teared and she summoned a small but raging wave of water to put out the fire with a loud hiss before beginning to pace the island in frustration, completely forgetting about the second voice, and, instead mentally berating herself for not paying attention properly.

Cosette huffed sadly as the original voice stopped singing. It felt like something was ripped out of her heart, yes, that was deffinetly a siren. She waited at the shore. Whoever was singing would have to come back to the main-land eventually.

Adonia muttered many choice words against herself as she packed her bag with all her school supplies, choosing to hold her sketchbook in her hand as she set out walking across the water once more toward the shore. She was not paying much attention to where she was going, because she was too busy trying to keep herself from crying.

It had been four years now.... It had felt so wonderful to sing again. But what if a man had heard? What if- her stomach lurched- What if Jack had heard?.... She continue to walk towards the shore, her head down, clutching her sketchbook in front of her.

Seti watched as a girl with a strangly blue tint walked along the shorline. She was a siren? Coestte smiled, she was going to meet a real siren! The girl didn't look that happy though. Seti walked up to her carefully, trying not to startle her.

"Hey, are you alright?" she asked.

Adonia looked up in surprise, almost dropping her sketchbook. "O-Oh!" she said staring at the girl for a moment before shaking her head a bit as if trying to clear it. "I-I'm sorry. I was just... Lost in thought." she said distractedly.

She suddenly realized she must seem very "out of it" so she cleared her throat and smiled kindly. "I don't believe I've seen you around before" she said cocking her head. "I'm Adonia, fourth year siren."

Seti smiled her best kind smile for the siren. "Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Cosette, or Seti. First year of Apollo," she introduced herself proudly. Like she normally did.

"So what are you doing out here?" Seti asked trying to start a conversation.

"Er... Well I was" she put her sketchbook behind her. "Just out enjoying the evening." she said, smiling as she remembered her afternoon spent sketching. Her smile twitched a bit as she remembered her singing slip-up from before, but she quickly refixed her smile and asked "And yourself?"

"Well, you were singing right? it was really pretty," she said and smiled. ((Oh wait.. is this before they met in the music room... they got introduced there.. wait of jeez cronolology XDD))

"In the music room... you don't sing because of what it does to guys right? Where's your violin?"

((Pfffff oh dear... I had forgotten about that... though this was technically started before that one.... Bah XD Oh well XDDD))

She sighed in relief "Oh so it was you who heard me? Thank God it was you and not... a man.." she turned a bit pink. "Thank you..."

"Yes.... I er.... I have a rather overly potent voice... I can't so much as hum around them... My violin? Well, I came right from my lessons... and I just wanted to go relax for a bit... so its still in my room."

She cocked her head. "Was that you who was singing along with me? You have a lovely voice."

"Thank you," she said, turning a little pink at the complement. "So..."

Adonia fidgeted a bit. It was rather awkward holding her sketchbook behind her like she was, but she preferred to keep the book's contents to herself for the time being. "So... perhaps you would like to walk a bit?" she asked, for want of a better plan.

"Alright," she said. Why was she always so awekward around this girl. Seti remembered being fine with the blond haired guy until the siren had come into the room. Which brought to mind the questions she had about those two.

"So what's that you're hiding?" She asked, meaning whatever the older girl was hiding behind her back.

Adonia turned a bright shade of pink, taking the small book out from "O-Oh this?" she said, holding it tightly. "Its um... just a sketchbook," she said nervously.

By the way the girl's cheeks turned pink, Seti decided not to ask anymore about it. Instead she just nodded.

"So you're an artist?" she asked.

"Y-yes.... after a fashion" she said fingering the book nervously. "I do try my best that is..."
