Jane shrugged. "I guess. I mean, reading material never really goes to waste. It's just that...everything here is different than when I'm from, it seems a little outdated to me."

"I guess that's true..." she said a little doubtfully, thinking this over. It made some sense...though it would still be nice to find something that she thought was interesting, instead of just picking something up at random.
