Rememberance
((Don't know if there's a typo thar..pssshhh =3=))
She had loved glades. They both had done, both Braelyn and Caoimhe. Jack had never really had that much time or patience for nature until Caoimhe had introduced it to him. He had been like a child compared to her, she just was wiser and patient and Jack had no idea what she had seen in him. He was wild and reckless, murderous and cruel but she had somehow tamed his savage heart and then a year later they had a child...A boy called Braelyn. Jack had never know true happiness until then, he had been a very materialistic man, wealth and gold were the only things that mattered but now he had family they were top priority. He settled down, hung up his gun and hat and traded it for care and fatherly duties. You should have seen his face when he first had to change Braelyn, it was perfect Kodak moment, Caoimhe had been in hysterics at him. His face...he was like ...'What do I do with it?'. He started to feel like a dad and that scared him slightly when he found himself making wierd baby noises when he tried to feed his son when he was little. But they were happy...until...well....you know what happened.
He came to the glade and knelt down, leaving flowers in two seperate piles. One was a pile of bright red flowers, his sons favorite colour and the others were pure and delicate white ones that had been extremly tough and stubborn to pick...just like his wife. He smiled at the thought and then started to talk to himself but he was actually talking to his wife and son. He was actually kinda nervous, the place seemed so spiritual, the leaves were emerald and the light filtered through gently, especially illuminating the piles of flowers. He then placed the now finished bracelet near the white flowers and rocked back. When he had given it to her he had never got chance to finish it, always swearing he would but he was too late afterall.
"Woah..um...I'v never done this 'afore...dun laugh at us, cos I knew ye would ye lil buggers" he chuckled lightly but laughter soon turned to tears. He wasn't over them yet, he doubter he ever would be. He doubled over and his tears dropped the the grass at his hands and knee's, some blades decorated with clear tears others tinged red with bloody ones. He stayed silent as his tear fell and his breathing became ragged, the wet streaming down his face warmly. Images flashed through his head happy and sad ones, carrying his son on his shoulders as he pretended to fly and then seeing his murdered, ashen infant body, curled, absolutly terrifed of the flames that had engulfed their house. It was more than the pirate could take....He wanted to go away from this place...all it held now were bad experiences and even more bad memories to add to the pile...

Re: Rememberance
((Feel free to ignore if you like ;3 ))
Addi wandered aimlessly in the forest, her heart like a stone in her chest, aching over Jack. She was certain she had hurt him, by giving him back the bracelet... but he had said he wasn't sure that he.... "Ugh... this is all such a mess," she muttered as she trudged along, tugging at the hem of the dress Tahi had lent her to hide her recent bruises.
She slumped down at the base of an especially large tree and closed her eyes, allowing the stillness of the forest to fill her in an attempt to calm her racing thoughts and emotions. She had never been out here for fear of running into one of the less-than-friendly creatures that could be found in its depths, but now that she was here, she was pleased to find that it was very calming.
She opened her eyes rather suddenly as her ears caught the sound of... something. It was a horrid, ragged sound, like that of someone gasping for air. Her instinct was to bolt up and head back towards the Athenaeum, but she stifled the urge... The sound seemed... human. She crept forward, silently following the sound as she tiptoed along in her bare feet.
As she pushed deeper in, the forest seemed to press in on her from all sides. The bushes and trees tugged at her dress and hair with branches like long, gnarled hands as she pressed on after the sounds.
Just when she began to feel she could not stand the suffocating foliage around her any longer, she stumbled into a clearing. Little spots of light bled through the canopy of green above, highlighting two piles of flowers- one red and one white- and.... Jack. Her gut knotted painfully as she saw him there kneeling over the flowers. Looking more closely, she saw a little flash of silver and her eyes filled with tears. It was the bracelet she had given back to him.... The one that belonged to "her."
She wanted to cry...to go to him... to comfort him...anything but but watch him suffer... But even as she moved to step forward, she remembered...
'I don't know' he had said... He didn't want her...
Her hand moved to stifle the sobs fighting to escape her lungs as she turned away, trying to escape the glade without notice... without hurting him anymore. But as she turned, a branch snapped under her foot. She stood there, frozen, her back to him... waiting.

Re: Rememberance
He looked round, eyes seeming to tremble violently with the amount of tears swimming in the light blue orbs. His gasps for breathe had turned into lights hiccups and occasionally he would lose control of his breathing altogether and start hyperventilating. He felt like his chest was going to burst and he was like a small child again, bloody and clear tears dribbling down his cheeks and onto his shirt . The pirate was reduced to a trembling, childlike, innocent wreck...just him there no mask or bravado, stripped of all his defenses sat in the grass feeling young and powerless. He couldn't see through the first rim of tree's even though he could make out a blurry figure he couldn't see who or what it was. Jack seemed to fold in on himself as fresh tears sprang to his eyes and he buried his face in his shirt, partly to hide his face from the stranger and partly to muffle his cries that he couldn't help rip from his throat painfully. He clutched at his hair hard, almost yanking it out in clumps, the pain from his scalp serving little deterant or distraction.

Re: Rememberance
At the sound of his agonized cries, Adonia stiffened and looked back to see him there crumpled and completely defenseless.... and the sight was more than she could bear. She rushed across the small distance between them to kneel by him, the tears she had been fighting to contain now running down her cheeks like little silver rivers. "J-Jack?" she whispered frantically, trying to see his face. "Jack what is it?"
As she knelt by him, she hesitated a moment as if afraid he might suddenly lash out at her. A moment later, she gulped and placed her small, trembling hands on his, gently but firmly working them free from his hair as he tore at it, holding them steady in her own.
She wasn't sure what else to do or say.... if anything... What could she possibly do to help him in his distress? She didn't even know what it was that tormented him so...
Would he be angry that she had found him?... What if he yelled at her? What if-.... and then she suddenly realized it didn't matter to her anymore. He was all that mattered to her, and if she came out worse for helping him, then so be it.
She swallowed hard, releasing one of his hands to reach out to his face, just barely visible from the collar of his shirt. Her heart raced frantically as she tried to say something... anything... Anything to soothe whatever it was that tortured him so. All she could manage was a choked "I'm here, Jack..."

Re: Rememberance
His tears were starting to dry in the long tracks they had made down his face when a cool hand was placed on his burning cheek. He couldn't bare to lift his head and see who it was...be it either from embarassment or just complete and utter emptiness that made him feel detatched from the world around him, not belonging to any aspect of it.
"I'm here, Jack..."
That voice and those comforting words, his mind flashed back to that night in the temple after his horrific nightmare...the bloody footprints and tears, the attempt on taking her life and the forgiveness afterwards.
"A-Adonia..." he stuttered reaching up to place a hand on hers and the moment he raised his head to catch her gaze he hung it low again...He couldn't look at her, not in a state like this and all the guilt of what he had said to her and put her through the past days he didn't deserve her...he had ignored her, shouted at her, accused her, upset her and almost struck her once...he didn't deserve such a loving person...it was wrong.
His eyes swam with guilt and grief and all sorts of emotions from the past and the present, melding together to create an awful emotion that hurt more than mourning. So awful it surpassed agony and didn't have a name...

Re: Rememberance
Adonia smiled gently, relieved that he was not angry with her, and aching for him as he took her hand and looked up for a moment before hanging his head once more. Before his gaze lowered though, she saw a sadness and a pain she could not comprehend. It was as though his heart had been shattered and lay in pieces around him.
The sight of such hopeless despair was more than she could bear to see from him. She longed to comfort him, but she didn't know how. How could she possibly be of any help against such grief? At a loss for what else to do, she finally just pulled him close to her and held him, stroking his hair gently.
"Its all right." She choked out resting her cheek on his head, as she continued to stroke his hair. "Please don't hide... n-not from me..."
