Homely art
Chicomecoatl slithered into the art classroom with her Iguana plodding in after her. "Look Chimalli, isn't there so much to see" She twirled around, almost tying her tail in knots if it wasn't for how slippery it was. Chimalli just grunted in ackowledgment as his lamia picked up a bright red, yellow and then a dull green paint pot and dipped her hand in the green to bring it over the large canvas in a thick swirl that ended seperated. Then she left the green and dipped her fingers in the red and yellow to draw swirls and patterns along the animal that was forming on the canvas. "Looks just like the one's at home doesn't it?" she asked her lizards approval which had sauntered up onto her shoulder to peer at her lizards before motioning his head toward the head which was complete except for one thing...
"The teeth! How did I forget" Touching her head and unconsciously leaving red fingerprints on her skin, she turned and knocked other not needed equipment gently out of her way with her tail as she looked around for a white. "Where is it?"

Re: Homely art
Andrasteia wasn't an artist. She'd be the first to admit that. But she'd always loved watching people draw and paint, all the colors and shapes that she knew she couldn't do herself, so when she noticed that someone was in the art room she poked her head in to see who it was.
A lamia! Andras hadn't seen many, though there was another one at the Athenaeum, and a pretty one at that. Such bright, vivid colors, not only in the art but on her tail. Wanting to go introduce herself, the lampad stuck her head in the room and announced her presence with a small cough. "Hello there," she said cheerfully.

Re: Homely art
"Hola!" Chico replied cheerfully with paint smudges all over and her hands covered in multicolours and her tail coiled around many pots of paint, that she felt she would need. "You want to join art, si?" The lamia being as forward as she was held out a paintbrush thinking the other student wanted to paint aswell. "Or you could just use hands...?" she giggled, showing a painted palm and left the sentence open for the other girl to fill in her name.

Andras laughed, stepping more into the room. "I think I'd have to use hands, I never got much further than fingerpainting myself. I'm Andrasteia, and you are...?"
Always happy to meet someone new, and someone friendly, she easily settled into a sort of groove of talking to people.
