Re: Word-chain
llama... ((Though I would have gone with cyanide from the last one Adrenocortical insufficiency is a hormonal disorder where you don't make enough of the adrenal hormones. It's rather nasty. Don't mess with the endocrine system! ))

Re: Word-chain
Rye (like catcher in the rye! Hated it at first, but discussing it in lit class made it make sooo much more sense - and now I like it much more.)

Re: Word-chain
Arthritis
(I had to read it for Junior lit. It was good when I read it with someone who actually knew what all of the symbolism meant. At face value it's just a ton of swearing and lots of teenage angst/hypocrisy. Underneath it's about dealing with growing up, and how we all change through life.)

cheilitis granulomatosa
( omnitrope - if remember correctly is the commercial name for somatropin. that's a pituitary hormone. in fact - it's also common hormone used by athletes trying to cheat. but yeah - don't mess with hormones. That must be difficult for you Azu.)

Re: Word-chain
pernicious anemia
(that's what memorizing diseases will do to a person... Blame medical school - and TheDutchesse for telling us to pick words to make us sound smart. cheilitis is an inflammation of the lip, and the granulomatosa part just means that's what causes it (a granulomous infection). pernicious anemia is a nasty type of anemia caused by B12 deficiency).
