"Sir," she said stolidly, not shifting from her position. She should have stayed out in the hall, kept watch for Eri, maybe they wouldn't have gotten caught. But either way, just staring straight ahead seemed to work for her.

Eri smiled even more sweetly, looking far more childish than her height and somewhat "mature for her age" looks suggested. "Ah I see...Well then, shall we?"

The idea of Tahi finding out worried her far more than she cared to admit, but she wasn't about to let Eos know that. Tahi had made her feel welcome and wanted when she arrived, and had not thought her boyish and often childish tendencies to be infuriating in the same way her family and peers had. It hurt her to think that Tahi might think less of her, but she had her father's stubborn and prideful personality... she wouldn't let them see her break.

"....nothing, sir." Jane wished that she could shake her tone, but it seemed to have stuck. Damn those habits, too many days being tried and tested for having a level head and having to pass all those tests...

Shaking her head a little bit to snap out of it, she sighed and glanced sideways at Eri before starting to follow him out.

Eri followed him out as slowly and daintily as she could; for once, every inch a lady. She gave him a sweet smile and cocked her head expectantly.

Jane had gone back to a robotic soldier, standing straight up and staring blankly ahead, wondering what would happen now.

Eri stood patiently, looking at Eos expectantly. "I thought we were going somewhere?" she asked sweetly.

Eos glared at the short girl. The truth was he didn't think Tahi was around... and even if she was... he didn't want to talk to her after he had made a fool of himself the last time he talked to her, his cheeks got a bit pink at the memory.

The corners of Jane's mouth twitched, and she tried not to smile. Clearing her throat and shifting slightly, she pulled her solid face back on and kept her gaze forward.

Eri grinned triumphantly and bowed with great ceremony to him. "Of course mi-lord. Only too happy to oblige" she said before turning on her heel. Taking Jane's hand, she skipped off down the hall, waving to Eos cheerfully as she turned the corner, dragging Jane with her.

Jane kept up with Eri, keeping her straight face until they had rounded the corner. "Well, that could have been a lot worse," she said, sighing with relief. "Sorry I went all robot soldier there, old habits die hard."

Eri laughed cheerfully. "Ah that's ok" she said, giving the older girl a hug. "It probably helped really... didn't give him anything to work with." she grinned.

"A pity we didn't get any of the dye in there before he walked in, though," she said. "I mean, obviously it didn't go as planned but the least we could have done was turn his hair pink."

Eri sighed wearily. "Yeah... well I can at least..." her smile vanished as she began looking though her pockets. "Oooooh shoot..." she muttered. "I think I left the dye in the room......" she said clapping her hand over her eyes in frustration. "Hopefully he doesn't find that... or he'll actually have proof that we were trying to dye his hair...."

(I should go to bed I guess... I have work tomorrow... but we shall continue this another time if you like >DDDD))

(You have no idea how nice it is for her to have a friend who likes to get in trouble with her XD She's currently in the infirmary stealing Bjorn's necklace as revenge against him XD..... now for one more prank... but I shall have to ask the chara's owner if she minds if Eri pranks him XD)
