Wind and Fire from the Underworld [PRIVATE]

Time: Two days after the ball, 10:38 pm.
Place: The Lake
Who: Kamoa and Eien (Hades soon if we can have him)


Kamoa watched the reflection of the moon on the lake. The wind was chilling it didn't bother her at her, she was a Nephelae. Of course she had almost forgotten how the winds felt. So many years is had been since Hades let her out from the Under world.

Again she didn't have shoes like that night at the ball. Come to think about she was never seen with shoes at the Athenaeum.

The Nephelae started to walked closer to the lake slowly, taking her time feeling every step she took.

Eien was, as usual, stalking.

From his room's window, the Lampad had seen his Mentor go out at night, usually to the Athenaeum Gardens. She's probably just patrolling. But today, she seemed to be headed towards the Lake.

It's really past curfew and the students were not supposed to be roaming around at night. But he had decided to follow, curious. He watched her from behind a tree as they neared the Lake.

'How beautiful...,' he smiled, feeling pleased. Instead of her elegant dress at the ball, she was clad in her usual pink chiton tonight, showing her graceful arms and legs, the moonlight reflecting on her skin. As he examined her, he noticed something.

...No shoes...

"So lovely..." The Nephelae said while she let her hair down. The moonlight that bathed her would make one think she was a Goddess.

Kamoa stopped her pace when the tip of her toes touched the water. It was chilling and refreshing, how she wanted to go inside but knew she could get sick.

Quietly she started to sing,the wind became soft, like here voice.
Her pink lovely hair flowed with the wind.

From behind the tree, Eien felt quite touched by her voice. It was so sweet...

He leaned out a little to get a better look. How he wanted to just go there and be with her. ...But he'd get scolded for sure.

... ... ...

Well, not like he minds. He can stand there and get scolded all night if he had to. So why not just walk out and be there?

The Lampad was about to step out with a friendly smile, but changed his mind and withdrew, his back against the tree. He thought for a moment.

'...Let's see what happens if I scare her...'

He grinned playfully as he turned the other way and crawled into the bushes, cautiously approaching his Mentor from behind.

Not knowing that someone was watching, Kamoa began to sway her hips slowly as she sang.

The song, its had a sad feeling to it but she kept smiling. Suddenly she stopped singing, the winds died and her smile was gone.

"Lord Hades..." she whispered and stood still.


The Lord of the Underworld arrived.

The moment his Mentor stopped singing, the atmosphere changed completely. It's as if time itself had stopped--everything was in a standstill. He was still some distance away but, feeling uncomfortable and curious, Eien tried to peek out of the bushes.

He quickly withdrew when a sudden gust blew. The black winds swirled in front of Kamoa for a moment, Hades materializing from within them as they subside.

The Nephelae got on one of her knees and lowered her head as Hades finished materializing.

"Lord Hades...I was starting to think you would not come." Kamoa lifted her head slowly towards Hades.

He was about six foot two tall, black hair that reached his shoulder and green emerald eyes. Hidden under that beautiful face was a cruelty,fear, and death.

"Hermes visited the ball two nights ago. I thought maybe you would come by too."

"Things had been quite busy in the Underworld," Hades chuckled, his voice quiet, but dark and venomous.

"It's quite a pity that I couldn't come to the ball. You must have looked very beautiful that night," he said, bending down a little and caressing her cheek with cold, pale fingers.

"I hope my warriors are well-trained," he smiled, "My Kamoa..."

((OMG... I just realized that Hades' warriors at the moment are all Lampads... -.- *tries to be more evil*))

"Of course my Lord Hades." Kamoa flustered looking up at him.

"I spend more time and give special classes to them, they are learning quick...but...." She hesitated before she continued. "...with Eien, he's been having some trouble but he will learn quick."

Hades would feel disappointed but she did not dare lie to him.

He glared at her and slapped her hard across the face.

"Kamoa! Don't you dare give me anything less than perfect!" Hades shouted, his rage burning through his emotionless facade.

"I know that I still have Raivynne to win for me if that foolish child fails. You can even depend on her more," he folded his arms, narrowing his now blood-red eyes.

"But I don't want a single warrior of mine to be defeated shamefully by those of the other Gods. Understood?" He said, thinking about his reputation amongst the Olympians.

But I'm wondering how I'm going to beat myself up... =.="
Eien & Hades are currently glaring daggers at each other inside my head DDDD: ))

For years she has taken Hades beating. The first few years she would cry out in pain and tremble in fear.

The Nephalae learned how to hold back those tears and stand by the pain. She swallowed hard and whispered."Please forgive me,Lord Hades."

"Under my care, all your Lampads will be the best warriors that the Athenaeum has ever had."

Kamoa's hand shivered, she wanted to place it over her face where Hades had slapped her and heal herself, hell Hades would slap her even harder if she did such thing in front of him.

((*evil laughs* Oh Eien!!Such a rival you have now XD ))

"Good, that's what I want to hear," he sighed, his eyes restored to its former fierce shade of amber as he tried to calm down.

"I hope you stay true to your words," he prepared to leave, "I'll be checking you out once in awhile. So make sure that everything goes well."

Hades smirked as he disappeared in another gust of dark winds.

'We'll win the Tounament.'

((Hmm... His eyes are yellow, no? o.O??))

"Miss--Miss Kamoa!" Eien called as he rushed out from his hiding place to his Mentor's side.

"Are you alright?"

Kamoa looked up,holding her hand over her face ,tears running down.

"E-Eien!?" She said trying to hold back her cry.

You're suppose to be in bed!

Thats what she wanted to say, but only a cry came out when she opened her mouth to speak again.

Eien felt really guilty after 'eavesdropping' the conversation. At the same time, he was quite angry at what Hades had done. It's quite shocking to him as it was the first time he had seen his lord's violent side.

He knelt closer to Kamoa and pulled her into a hug, trying to comfort her.

"Miss Kamoa, please... Don't cry," he said softly.

((Yeah, frst we thought about green/black. Then we changed to yellow ...))

Kamoa wrapped her arms around Eien's neck as he hugged her.

Silently she cried, so many years since she was last hugged, someone there for her.

Part of her was happy that he was there, but still she was a quite angry.

"W-what..are you here." She asked still holding the Lampad.

((So they are completely yellow now? I just watched the Clash of the Titans today~!!))

"I--I was...," Eien tried to think up an excuse, but he didn't want to lie, "You...don't usually go to the Lake. ...I was curious, so I followed."

"I'm sorry Miss Kamoa--I know it's not a good reason for me to be here...," he said, stroking her soft hair gently and letting her lean on him.

"Did...did you hear anything Lord Hades and I were talking about?" Kamoa whispered.

She was worried that he might, and soon start to question. She was not ready to tell Eien anything if she asked.

"...Truthfully, I did, but--...," Eien stopped.

How can Hades treat her like that? She's his Mentor for God's sake. And what's with the way he spoke to her?! He couldn't believe that Hades, who was a just and fair Lord to him, could treat someone this badly. It doesn't make sense!

There were a lot of things that he wanted to ask, but this really wasn't the time.

"Miss Kamoa, let's get back," he said, helping her to her feet.

"It's cold out here."

Kamoa shook her head."No...I want to stay outside for a bit longer."


"I need the fresh air..." She said slowly,trembling she placed her hand over her face to heal herself.

The cold didn't bother her like the pain that she felt on her face.

Eien sighed and sat down nearby, not knowing what to say. He hoped that she's alright.

"It's my fault, isn't it? Hades wouldn't have hit you otherwise...," he said, avoiding to look at her.

"I--I'll work harder now. I won't give him another reason to hurt you!!"

Kamoa walked over and patted his head.

"Eien...its just I..." I belong to Hades

Four simple words she had trouble to say to him.

"It's not your fault...Lord Hades just had a busy day at the Underworld and took his anger at me." Like he always does
"Come now...before you get in trouble for not being at bed." She extended her hand out towards him.

((Nay, we can leave this for awhile. I'll make Hades come here to check on Kamoa maybe every 1 or 2 weeks. Just so that the story doesn't go too fast... :b. What do you think ?))

Eien nodded and took Kamoa's hand. He couldn't help thinking something was a little strange, though. But he thought he shouldn't pry into it right now.

But what if Hades returns here? And it's definitely his fault, at least according to the conversation he saw. But his Mentor denied it. Then there must be something more. He wondered if he should do a little more 'stalking'...

Her pace was very slow, she kept looking down every step she took, like a child that just learned how to walk.
