Re: Do not taunt the Nonliving, for they have no fear of Death.
Jack took the blow to the head and barely moved, the fist just made a sharp, sudden contact with his forehead. In this state he gathered his wandering wits, took the mannequins arm, twirled out of the way and around the animated women so he pulled her own arm up around her throat, with him stood behing her. He sighed, feighing tiredness and swept Siorc around, aiming to cut the mannequin clean in two.

((Mannequin's health 0/30 ))
The animated doll's now useless body halves fell to the ground with a thud. Nestled within the hollowed out chest piece of the mannequin was a gem, a cloudy crystal that gave off an eerie blue light. Morpheus kneeled beside the doll, picked up the gem, then turned towards the students. His face betrayed worry mixed with a hint of relief as he begin to magically pry the seal off the gem.
When the seal was removed a few moments later, a faint, blue mist rose from the gem. The mist took the form of a smiling young woman dressed in a lavish and expensive-looking dress. She didn't speak a word, but made her message as clear as she could.
She was the daughter of politically important man, and lived in a time when women were nothing but property. She didn't want to live the life her father laid out for her, so when the Goddess of the Hearth appeared to her one day with tales of the Athenaeum, the girl took up the Olympian's offer in a heart. She soon learned that the Athenaeum was not quite what she expected, but she adapted as best she could. She managed to make it to her final year before she fell victim to her woman's heart. She fell in love with another 5th year warrior, a savage man she never would have even looked at if she was in her home time. Her years at the Athenaeum had taught her to look beneath another's exterior, and in this man she saw a gentle soul that in truth did not wish to hurt anyone, but could not disobey the beserker blood running through his veins. Fate struck the two lovers harshly; they were pitted against each other in the first fight of the end of the year tournament. The man had planned to simply knock her out and feign her death, but the fight dragged on too long and his berserker blood boiled too hot for him to control.
He walked away from that fight, but she did not. Distraught, the man took his life before the next fight, but not before placing the woman's soul in a doll and setting up another doll for himself.
The mist faded out, and the crystal cleared. Morpheus rolled the gem in his hands.
"This story took place before I had started teaching at the Athenaeum. I found the girl doll stashed in a closet in my classroom the first day of my new job, but I have yet to find the male doll. I presume he is still lingering on the Athenaeum grounds, haunted by his own actions. May she finally rest in peace..."
((THERE. TRAGIC STORY, like every other other warrior at the Athaeneum LOL.
If this was a real Monster battle, Jack would get extra points for scoring the death blow, and Jane and Adonia would also get points (though less than Jack) for helping. We may hand out points for this exercise but Suus is offline and I just got back from the hospital (My gran has a kidney stone) and desperately need a nap as I've only had 3 hours of sleep ;A; I feel so useless, blargh. ;3; ))

She nodded, stepping back and letting the others go at it. "I think I've got the hang of this," she said. "You guys can finish her off."
