Iva listened for a moment and thought and thought about what Oni said about his powers. They sounded like normal healing magic powers, but he had also mentioned side effects to using them.

"Would it be rude of me to ask you to demonstrate your powers?" Iva asked, and then said, "I completely understand if you don't want to, I just want to see them in action so then I might have something to base any research on."

"Well...In order to show you what I mean, I'll need a subject to work on...Someone with a cut, simple as that...." Oni responded back to Iva. He was more then willing to show her what he ment, which in turn could help himself, giving him hope that she may know what could be the problem.

"Oh I can get someone with a cut for you." Iva said and then turned around to look at her many counters which needed organizing. She found her bone knife which she usually carried around her neck but simply forgot to put it on the past few days. The amazon carefully slipped the bone out of it's holder, she held it in her right arm and then cut herself, simple as that. It was a small cut, not deep and nothing to be concerned about. Iva winced a bit but was over it in a minute.

"There, is this cut okay?" Iva asked and held out her now bleeding arm for Oni to inspect.

Oni's eyes slightly widen at what Iva just did to herself as she cut into her skin. Though now wasn't the time to debate over this, since it wouldn't provide any resolution to their experiment. He asked for a patient, and that's what he got. "Yeah, that'll do..." He stretches out his hand and gently grab onto her hand as his other hand rests around the cut. "Alright, now just stay still and I'll give it a quick touch..."

Within a moment, his hands began glowing to a light neon green color. The lights began to travel from his fingers to the cut on her arm, surrounding the wound in its illuminant color. Looking at it, you can see the tissues connecting where it was ripped; millions and millions of thread like texture began to connect. It began to pull together, contracting the wound to close it, stopping the bleeding, as well as sealing the skin back to its original state. Once finished, the glow faded away from them as he leg go of her.

"There we are...Good a- Ngh!" Suddenly, Oni leaned over, holding his right hand over where his heart would be located on his body. He groan a moment, eyes dilated a bit as his hand clenched tightly onto his clothing article. From a point of view, it would be as if someone was having a heart attack. Once a moment has past, his let out a light pant as his body felt the pain dissolve.

He regain control over himself, bringing himself back to a sitting up position, looking at Iva with a slightly hurt face, as if he was punched in the gut. "A-and...This is what happens...When I heal anyone..."

Iva watched with wide, almost childlike, eyes as his hand glowed a very bright neon green and the tissues were reconnecting themselves. The cut pulled it together; the bleeding stopped and the skin was returned to it's original state. She was amazed simple as that and she was about to say something when Oni leaned over. He was in an extreme amount of pain and Iva had no clue how to help.

Iva knelt down in front of Oni and held onto his shoulder. She nodded to what he said and then lifted his chin to get a look at his eyes to make sure they weren't bloodshot. "Are you still in a lot of pain? Should I get you medicine or a pain killer or any herb, leaves?" She asked as she put a hand to his forehead just to check for a fever. A million questions and speculations formed in her head, but it was rather obvious Oni was still in pain; she would save them for later.

(So sorry with the long awaited reply =3='' )

Oni's head felt fine. Maybe a little warmer from him with the shock of pain, but not fever like. His eyes were also perfectly normal, or so returning to as he takes a quick controlling sigh. However, having her being close to him to check his status made him blush ever so slightly on his cheeks. "No no, Iva. That is not needed. I'm fine I'm fine." He answered. "It's the usual recoil I've been through as long as I can remember. So now you see my problem."

((No problem C:))

Iva watched him still concerned as he recovered on his own. His eyes were fine and there was no fever but his face was flushed. "Yes, now I do see your problem." She said in a daze, thinking of what possible solutions there could be. "I'll start doing research about this as soon as possible." Iva told him and maternally ruffled his hair, then stood up. She wanted to sprint to the library and look through old medical journals to find some sort of solution, but she couldn't leave Oni.

(would it be odd if I would totally ship the two of them crack ship or no? I mean there have been odder ships in this club XD)

(Oh yes +3+ You know I was getting the feeling that these two would sorta make a nice pairing, being the medical wizzes they are...hey, I'm all up for it if you wanna~ >w>)

Oni gave a few blinks from his hair being ruffled by her, giving a slightly annoyed and confused expression at once. He then stood up next to her, thinking how she would do any kind of research about this. "Well...Where would you start? Library?"

(YES! ....I mean yes that would be nice XD)

Iva nodded. "Yes, I'd start there by looking through old medical journals. I'm sure there might be something in there that would be of help..." She trailed off thinking of other places she could look. Iva could leave the Haven, returning to her own tribe of Amazons and asking the healer or travel to talk to other healers throughout the centuries. She nodded once more, "The library will be a good place to start."

(Hehehe x3 Sure sure~ I'd love to have Oni with a girl. >3> He neeeeeds to loosen up with others anyways. xP I like Iva, she's a good person)

"I'll come with you...To help, of course." Oni replied with a smile, willing to help out the same person who wishes to help him. "I could help along with the studies along with you...It would be a great help to see what else there is to learn with healing techniques."

(Iva's a loner...when there aren't people in the infirmary she's usually just by herself and keeps to herself mostly. I like Oni too, he seems like a good person and a sweet guy too :3)

"Of course, Oni." Iva smiled back at him. "Helping me do research will definitely benefit you in two ways; helping with your studies as you mentioned and finding a solution to your problem." She looked about the infirmary, thinking of what else she would need. "So what do you say we get started now?"

(+3+ That's why I like her. She seems so mysterious~ And Oni's sweet. <w>.....A little bashful with showing it, buuuuut he can be :3 Plus I'd like to see how he'd be like with a sort of mate x3 )

Oni gives a firm, confirming nod. "The sooner, the better. Onwards to the library. Follow me." He said with a smile before turning around and heading out of the infirmary.

(Hee hee X3 I suddenly want to draw the two of them....)

Iva didn't get to respond for Oni headed out of the infirmary towards the library. She smiled to herself as he lead the and then walked quickly to catch up to him.
