It's tea time~

Cedric walked out of the libray and onto the mess hall, where he was sure he could find some camomile tea to calm the body and the mind. He asked for a tray with two cups and a plate of cookies and walked to a table, setting it down. "Well, I hope you enjoy the tea, Miss Adonia." he said, pouring down the liquid on the cups.

Addi watched with interest as he poured, eying the liquid with great curiosity. "How does one make it?" she asked watching the dark liquid.

Cedric sat down, blowing the cup. "Careful, it's hot. Well, that's rather simple. Herbs collected from a flower or a specific plant and pour them in hot water. It's piece of cake!" he said with a smile, sipping some tea.

Addi eyed the cup for a moment before cautiously picking it up, blowing on it as she had seen Cedric do and sipping a bit. "Ooooh this is lovely" she said with a grin sipping some more. Its really that easy?" she said in surprise, looking at the cup's contents.

Cedric closed his eyes for a moment, appreciating the calmness of the tea and its scent and then opened them up with a nod "Yes. There are various tastes and some english people enjoy it with milk. I for once, like it plain.... just with a bit of sugar. Perfect."

Adonia cocked her head and looked at the tea again sniffing it and then tasting it. "Hmm I shall have to try that sometime. I do love trying new things." she giggled. "But I like it this way too." she said taking another long sip, and giving a happy little sigh. "Its so soothing."

Cedric smiled, sipping some more tea and handed her the plate of cookies "These were brought from my homeland. Try them with the tea." he said, taking one himself.

Addi took a cookie and nibbled the end of it. "Oh my... These are delicious." she said sitting back in her chair and nibbling ever so happily.

Cedric was glad that Adonia seemed happy. Their early conversation got him worried since he was concern if she was going to enter in a depressed state. Fortunatly, tea and biscuits solve the problem. "I love these too... They are perfect."

Addi smiled. "A lovely feeling to be sure." she said smiling as she sipped her tea again. "One most of us don't feel enough I imagine."

Addi giggled. "Jack would certainly know all about liquids changing the way one feels. But then, his liquid of choice is rum." she said with a mischievous look.

Cedric chuckled lightly "Oh but Jack is a pirate... it's no wonder that he loves rum, although it might seem stereotype. I don't like alcoholic drinks... they are too strong." he explained.

Addi shrugged and sipper her tea again. "I've never tried it, personally, so I don't know what I think about it."

"I advise you not to try it. It's quite addictive to some person and you might feel tipsy after a few gulps." Cedric said, opening his eyes to sip more tea.

"Actually, it's not all that different from his usual behavior." she said grinning. "He holds his liquor pretty well... he just seems to get a bit.. foggy" she said trying hard not to laugh.

Addi laughed gently "I don't think even Jack could get me to try it" she said grinning over the rim of the cup as she sipped. "If he would even let me try it in the first place."

Cedri nodded, filling his cup again "Oh, as good as he is, I believe he won't even let your lips near the liquid. He will protect you by drinking it!" he said, laughing a bit at his own joke.
