She looked up through her lashes, and smiled.

"So, I see you and Raivynne are quite close." she said, placing the right amount of venom into it. The smile turning to a scowl.

Calix perked looking down to Azu, not sure why she was suddenly scowling. "We are but were just good friends" He blushed some at that thought. "Do you not like her?"

"I don't know her very well. You couldn't say I don't like her." she scowled further. How could he be this clueless? Did he not understand the feelings she felt for him? Certainly beyond 'good friends'.

She broke out of the dance and sat on the bench. Crossing her arms and legs, and looked towards the other direction.

Perking to her sudden change in mood, Calix blinked in confusion. Why was she so upset? When she moved away and sat in a huff it confused him even more. "Azu are you mad at me?" He asked staying where he was.

She looked away, blinking tears from her eyes...

"I don't know. Maybe, seeing as you obviously having feelings more than 'good friends' for Raivynne. Maybe, because you don't know how I feel about you."

Azurith hugged herself tightly. So, she wouldn't burst.

Calix was quick to perk to her tear and more so starting to frown. What had he done to upset her so. As she explained her reasons, he could only frown some more. "Azu...I'm sorry I dont understand what you mean? But If I upset you I really am truely sorry. Please dont cry."

"It's to late for that, now.", the tears still streaming. "You love Raivynne, don't you? I know you do. I can tell." she could read peoples expressions and feelings to themselves or other.

"Just tell it to my face, do it now. Before I can hurt myself more. Do you love her, or not?" she was looking at him now. The blue fire blazing in her eyes, the cold fire.

Calix stood there dumbfounded, what had happened. Everything was fine a moment ago and now Azu was in tears. What had he done that was so cruel? Yet whens he brought up Rai, his cheeks flushed as red as they could. He frowned a moment before moving to look at her.

"Azu....I dont know about my feelings at the moment for another, but if I have to say then....Yes...I do feel more strongly for miss Raivynne though we have just met. What I dont understand is how can look at me with such eyes as if you blame me for following what my heart tells me"

"i knew it. Thank you for telling me." she sighed. Wiping her eyes with her arm. She looked away. " I dont blame you, I blame myself for being so selfish and letting myself allow my heart to be broken twice in two days."

Azurith smoothed out her dress. The same she had worn for the party. The top had been stained from her tears.

"I'm sorry.", she replied. Feeling the tears come yet again. She looked at him again, the cold fire had left and was replaced with a warm one. Looking into his eyes, her heart softened too. Her heart and stomach fluttered with butterflies, searching his eyes to see if he felt the same. She knew he didn't, she was giving herself false hope. "I'm sorry for hurting you." and then she mumbled, "False hope..."

Calix couldn't help but frown as he looked to Azu explained why she was hurting sore. It was then clear to him and he was feeling worse and worse to see her hurting so. "Dont be sorry...you cant help your feelings but...I am sorry I do not feel the same way. Your like a little sister to me...Im sorry"

"Yeah, I'm sorry you feel that way." she replied blandly. "I was hoping it was different." she turned all the way around so that her back was to Calix. She didn't like this, it felt like there was a whole in her chest and she didn't know how to hold it in.

Calix perked to her words and frowned even more, he looked down to his hands that come together and linked tightly. He was feeling like shit now, he had hurt her and didnt even know it. "I...Im sorry Azurith" He said softly before turning away. "I Really am sorry" He glanced at her once more before moving to head off thinking it was best he left he alone

She didn't turn to his words, just sat there. When she finally heard him walk away, she slipped out of her struggle to try to hold onto herself, slipped to the ground and curled up into the fetal position.

It wasn't meant to be, it just wasn't. She wanted it to, so badly. She needed it to, she needed something in her life to go right at least once, for a change. It wasn't going to happen, it wasn't right.

She later unfurled from the position that she was in.... It was eerily silent. What happened? She had to have missed dinner.

"Hello?" she yelled, she was scared, she didn't know why, but she was. "Is anyone there?"
