Adonia jerked slightly as if she had forgotten where she was. "Oh! Uh.. no Its all right" Seeing Raivynne's concern, she added "I'm fine really," smiling once again.

Raivynne sat down next to her, hoping the girl wouldn't mind. "Are you sure? Well you can talk to me anytime you need someone to talk to, okay." She gave the girl a small smile. "Now, one last time, are you sure you're okay?"

All traces of her earlier slip into faraway gloom gone, the siren replied "Thank you. Yes, I'll be fine... Its nice to have friends."

Raivynne smiled. "No problem. It's what friends are for." She beamed at her, still concerned about what had just.

"So!" the siren began, trying to change the conversation to something less gloomy. "Have you started work on your costume yet?"

Raivynne laughed. "Yes, but I'm not to sure if its pretty. Fashion isn't my thing. How about you?" She asked.

[Achlys Adonia Argyris]

"Mine's almost done," she said looking mildly uncertain. "I'm not sure if it looks OK... I'm not used to wearing human-style clothing so it feels a bit strange... but I think I like it."

Raivynne nodded understanding. "Well, I'm used to wearing human clothes." She lifted her purple dress to show the fabric. "I have no fashion sense at all, so who knows." Raivynne shrugged her shoulders.

"Well I think you look lovely" The siren said smiling. "Purple suits you very nicely."

Raivynne blushed a little. "Thank you." She beamed at her new friend. "And I'm sure you will look great in human clothes as well." Raivynne smiled at Adonia.

[Achlys Adonia Argyris]

The siren laughed, a sound like small silver bells, before answering. "I'm sure my clothing seems strange to most other creatures," She said, gesturing to the strange clear material her dress was made of and the scale-clothing underneath.

Raivynne glanced to the girl's clothes. "Yes the material is weird but it suits your species. So its okay." She told Adonia reassuringly.

[Achlys Adonia Argyris]

She giggled again. "Yes I suppose that's true." "Speaking of clothing," are you going to the masquerade?

Raivynne nodded. "Yes I am indeed going to the Masquerade. I'm not much of a dancer though." She said a little embarrassed. But it was true, she wasn't a very good dancer....when you grow up in the Underworld you don't learn how to dance thats for sure.

[Achlys Adonia Argyris]

"Well, I never learned to dance either,"she said kindly... "when one lives on a tiny island all by themselves, there's not a lot of opportunity for higher education." ^^;

Raivynne looked to her friend with wide eyes. "You...you grew up all alone?" She asked her shocked that she had grown up like that.

[Achlys Adonia Argyris]

"Yes?... is that strange?" She asked slightly cocking her head to one side. "I used to swim to the shore of Greece and sneak through the nearest city. That was how I taught myself music."

"Only a little. Most grow up with someone. But then again I can't even remember my own childhood, so I guess its not to strange." Raivynne said revealing a little of her past without even realizing it. "You taught yourself music? Thats impressive."

She shrugged... "I love to sing... but singing causes some... problems... so I would go into town to learn other kinds of music by watching performers play instruments. I've never been happier than when I obtained my violin and harp."

"At least you are musically gifted. I have no musical capabilities at all whatsoever." Raivynne said with a grin. She was only good at academics being the book worm she was.

[Achlys Adonia Argyris]

".... I can't read." The siren admitted grinning apologetically. "I only know art and war." Pauses as she realizes something for the first time. "Did I hear you say you don't remember your childhood at all?"

[Guest]

Raivynne nodded slowly. "Yes...I don't remember anything from before the age of ten. Everything below my tenth year is murky, blurry, darkness and I have no clue of anything I did until 10..." She said sighing sadly.

"I'm sorry," Adonia replied. "I didn't mean to pry into your personal life."

[Guest]

"No, no, its quite alright. I'm an amnesiac and have come to terms with it." Raivynne smiled sadly. "Don't worry its quite alright."

"All the same, I hope you are able to recover your memory soon," Adonia smiled.
