Beginnings at the lake

Anemone sighed as she swam through the lake. She had only been there for a few hours, and already she had found a source of water. Not that she wanted to leave though; she was perfectly content where she was.

A strange girl with white hair walked to the edge of the lake. She looked upset, her beautiful face crinkled up in confusion.

Anemone suddenly stiffened as a shadow went over her. Looking up, she saw the blurry silhouette of a person standing by the lake. She swam high enough, until the person was clear.
White hair surrounded the beautiful face of the strange girl. Her electric blue eyes contrasted with her pale complexion. Anemone was intrigued, and her face broke the surface of the water so she could get a better look

"Aah!" she shrieked. "You scared the heck out of me!"
She stared at the girl, she had light blue hair, and strange fin-like ears, her blue eyes were.... staring right at her.
"What are you doing here?" she inquired."Ugh, What am I doing here? Who knows..."
That was exactly why she was upset. This place was strange, all she remembers was sitting on the dock at her hometown in Greece, watching the men walk by, carrying heavy things...Of course they didn't know what she was, they didn't have the sight that permitted humans to see the mythical creatures living there (If they could see her, they would have surely come up and talked to her). (Everyone here had the sight.) All of the sudden the sky got dark, everything went black, and she ended up here.
"Ahhh." She sighed. Those boys were soooo.......

Anemone just stared at the girl, eyes unemotional. Rising even higher, she floated a bit on the water until she was only a hair away from her face, then sunk back down.
"Name?" She asked. Her voice was soft, yet her words flowed like water.

((Anemone is like "..." she doesn't speak much, but is sorta how fish are XDDD))

"Azurith. You can call me Azzy or Azu or Azure..." She said.


((Azu is quite the opposite. She never stops talking, she feels very highly of herself. I got to go. I'll be back on tomorrow. (My mom is making me get off.))

"Azurith..." Anemone looked down, at the water, watching as her hair spread around her. Then she looked back up at Azurith.
"Anemone. Species?" she asked bluntly.

((BYE THEN WATER BUDDY TT^TT, SEE YOU TOMORROW TT^TT))

"Neried. You?" she inquired.

Anemone stared at the girl, before disappearing into the water. Suddenly, the water nymph jumped out of the lake, landing on the side. Fins on her back and arms retracted, and the webbings between her fingers and toes disappeared. Grabbing a small dress that was left aside, Anemone put it on, making sure not to tug at the bottle around her neck. Then, she made her way to Azurith, and sat down next to her, blank eyes directed right at the Neried and knees brought up to her chest.
"Naiad..." Anemone said. She continued to watch Azurith, fin-like ears twitching slight, before looking at the white hair. "Pretty...."

Amaranth watched the two water loving students from across the lake.
She smiled.
'Two water nymphs how lovely.'
Amaranth stretched and her wings spread out, she sighed and waded into the water. She dove under and smiled at all the wild life in the lake. Twirling around she came up swam back to the shore when she sat back on the rock to observe the students.
'They look like they could be first years..Seeing as they are water dwellers, Naiad and Neried.'
Amaranth being a Siren, and a Mentor sponsored by Aphordite and her fundemental element being water.She knew that one of the two would be her student.
Amaranth looked up at the sun, she sheiled her eyes.
"Its mid-day...I should get back before Mneme comes after me..." She mumbled.
Amaranth stood up and began to walk away hopeing that the two water spirits would not notice her.

Azurith blushed.
"Thanks." She stammered.
She watched the siren walk down to the lake and watched her swiftly jump into the water.

Amaranth looked up and noticed the Neried watching her.
'I guess I should go introduce myself.'

Amaranth dove into the water and seconds later re-appeard infront of the two water dwelers.

"Neried, and Naid correct?"
'Clearly...'
"My name is Amaranth, I am a Mentor at the Athenaeum..."

Amaranth smiled warmly at both females and took a seat next to the Niad.

Anemone just watched as the siren sat down, switching her focus from Azurith to Amaranth

Amaranth looked over at Anemone.
'She's very quiet...that bottle...I see now..'
"Im sorry, I diddn't get either of your names."

"My name is Azurith. This is Anenome. She doesn't talk very much." Azurith said.
"Who are you mentor for? What classes do you teach?"

((Lol, you can imagine Anemone won't say much XD She'll just cut in at random times XD))

Amaranth smiled.
"I represent Aphordite, and I teach water magic, and fighting with a whip."

"It's a pleasure to meet you both."

Raivynne had yet again gotten kicked out of the library. Syphila kicked her out this time because she "spends too much time there". So four hours in the library...

Raivynne decided to take a walk near the lake, she stopped. A mentor, and two warriors. The warriors, she has never seen before one with striking white hair and the other with blue hair. They all seemed to be busy talking.

'I'll come back later,' she thought. Starting to walk away, she stepped on a branch which made a loud cracking noise. That ended with three pairs of eyes staring into her onyx ones.

Amaranth sensed the lampad before she even looked up, when she did it was because she had stepped on a a twig or branch of some sort.

"You're welcome to join us if you wish." Amaranth smiled.

(nice to meet you, too. I'm well... obviously Raivynne)

Raivynne smiled at the mentor, Amaranth, simply because she wasn't that open to people she hasn't met yet, meaning the nereid and naiad. She walked over to the three and sat down on the ground; silence was all that was between them.

"Uh, my name is Raivynne." She ended up saying.

Amaranth smiled.

"Hello, Raivynne...are you a mentor or a warrior?"

Amaranth turned her full attention towardds Raivynne.

Raivynne looked at the mentor, "I'm a warrior; a fourth year."

She needed to fill the silence for the other two weren't speking.

"You're a mentor correct? Who is you're sponsor and which classes do you teach?"

Amaranth smiled.
"I am indeed a mentor, and I am sponsoer by Aphordite, I teach fighting with a whip and all water magic."

The was a long silence.

"What classes are you taking and who is your mentor?"

Raivynne looked at the mentor. Aphrodite, ah, goddess of love and beauty. She thought.

"I'm taking fighting: swords and daggers, spears and axes. Magic: fire and earth. As well as mythology and history. And the mandatory rituals and temples. My mentor is Thanadora."

Amaranth smiled

"oh wonderful. Well then, lets not sit around. Why dont we have a little sparring session if your up to it? You did ssay that your a fourth year so you should be good at fighting and defending yourself."

Amaranth stood up and turned to face Raivynee, she held her hand out to help her stand up.

"what do you say? you up for it?"
