Thinking Isn't Always Good

Raivynne needed somewhere to think. The year was about to end and the fifth years would be in the Tournament. Herself being a fourth year would then become a fifth year...and then at the end of that year would be the Tournament. She would have to fight the people she had become so close to, like Calix. Raivynne dropped that thought immediately. No way was she gonna think about that till the Tournament got closer. She plopped down onto one of the many benches in the gardens, looking up to the sky, watching the clouds slowly move.

Calix made his way through the gardens busy away at picking black orchids. He was making a gift for Raivynne and wanted to make sure he has the best of each orchid for her. As he moved along he perked spotting the top of dark hair. As he came around the hedge her perked to see Rai and rushed on over. Smiling as he came up behind her and looking down since she was looking up "Hello Miss Rai. Its Nice to see you again" He smiled moving to kiss her forehead. "Why are you out here by yourself?"

Raivynne smiled as Calix appeared before her and blushed a little when he kissed her. "Hello Calix." She stood up and walked around the bench, hugging Calix. "I was doing a little thinking that's all." Rai replied then she looked up once more to him. "May I ask the same, what are you doing out here?" She asked curious.

Calix beamed moving to wag his tail before moving to warp his arms around her. "I was here picking flowers for you" He smiled showing her the bouquet he held in his hand. "What were you thinking about?" He asked moving to lift her up so that she sat on the back end of the bench, his arms staying around her so that she didn't go flying backwards.

Raivynne blushed and her eyes lit up at the beautiful bouquet of black orchids. "For me! Oh thank you Calix." She beamed at him; her eyes widened as he picked her up (she not quite used to being lifted up all the time) and she was then placed on the bench by him.

Her smile slowly disappeared when Calix asked her what she was thinking about. Biting her lip before finally saying, "The Tournament...when we...have to go through it...at the end of this upcoming year." Rai finished and stared at her hands nervously.

Calix perked as Rai admitted i was the tournament that had her worried. "Shhh..Dont you worry about a thing" He moved to pull her close before nuzzling to her neck. "I'm not routing to aim for immortality really...Im here just for the fun" He admitted laughing "Perhaps I can teach something when everything is over. I know you would make a great teacher yourself" He smiled. "Love you"

Raivynne smiled at Calix and pulled him closer to her. She very softly whispered, "And I love you." Rai thought for a moment before continuing. "Calix, I'm not aiming for immortality either...but its...what....what if we have to fight each other?" She looked at him with big black eyes and bit her lip again.

Calix perked looking to her before giving a smile "Then let the best one win" He laughed "To me really this is all just a game. Win or lose were all the same person in the end....Dont you think?" He asked looking up into those eyes he loved. His hand coming up to caress her cheek.

"If we do have to challenge each other...then dont hold back. I can care for my own" He smiled moving to nuzzle. "I will give up if push comes to shove and we are even."

Raivynne smiled again at him before flinging her arms around him; pulling him close to her. She mentally yelled at herself to think positive, because it'll all work out in the end; it will just. Rai pulled away and looked at Calix. "Is there an occasion as to why you were picking me a lovely yet totally unnecessary bouquet?"

Calix perked as she moved away, blinking as she asked him as to why he was really picking flowers. He blushed some looking her way then down and back to her and down to the flowers then to her once more. "I was gathering them because....I wanted to ask you something tonight...So I wanted to pick flowers for you."

Raivynne made her idiotic 'oh' face and started blushing as Calix did. She looked at the delicate black flowers wondering what he wanted to ask her. "You have to ask me something...later?" Rai spoke her thoughts aloud as she tried to figure out what those words meant.

Calix looked to her, giving a smile before moving to cup her face gently in his hand and pressing their lips together. "I love you" He smiled moving to Eskimo kiss her. "Wait here just a moment...Dont...Dont move" He smiled moving to take off in a dead run back to his dorm.

It took him a good 20mins to find what he was looking for and get his bum back to Rai. He sighed smiling she was still there. "Forgive me I didnt think I would take so long"

Raivynne was gonna say something and then everything moved to sudden for her; Calix kissed her then left her blushing for 20 minutes. "Oh no not a problem Calix. But uh why did you have to head back to the dorms?" She asked curiously, because as he went to leave she noted it was in the direction of the dorms.

Calix smiled moving over to trot over to be in front of her, giving a smile before moving to take her hand and kiss it. His braid falling over his shoulder. "Raivynee....This year...Meeting you. Its been Heaven." He reached up to stroke her cheek. "You made everything worth living and I have something I want to ask you...and Now is better than later." He smiled and blushed "But...Right now I'm real shy in saying what I want to say....So...I...Wrote you a song." He grinned like an idiot.

Raivynne turned a thousand shades of red from just about everything. "You you wrote me a song?" She stuttered in utter shock and undeniable love for Calix. Nervously she tucked a few short curls behind her ear and then played with her hands. Looking up at Calix with a huge grin and a blush on her face. "Do I get to hear it?" Rai asked sheepishly.

Calix smiled moving to kiss her cheek before noding. "Yes...of course" He smiled moving to pull her up to her feet. His blush couldn't get any redder. As be began to sing just for her, his heart words wirten and now being played out by his own voice. His song just for her..

Cause our love will light the way" He sang pulling her into a loving embrace though she reached only his belly he held her close

And love is all that I need, And I found it there in your heart It isn't too hard to see. We're in heaven. " He sang good and loud now not caring who could hear him. He was singing his heart out to Rai and wanted her to know just how he felt about them.

Raivynne pretty much died right then and there of love. She was literally shaking she was so happy, she felt like bursting the poor girl had never been so happy in her entire life. Rai opened her mouth to say something but nothing came out, so she opted in standing on her tippy toes and pulling him close to her. Raivynne hugged him tight and then kissed him, then pulled away before practically screaming so everyone from Greece and all the way back could hear, "I love you!"

When his song ended, his eyes looked to Rai as she didnt say anything making him worry a moment before perking to the suddenly pull and Kiss making his heart flutter. When she pulled away and screamed however he blushed from head to to hoof. Cheeks still rosy he gave her no chance to calm before moving down on his leg. A challenge for his large body but he did so anyways. "Raivynee...You make the happiest man alive each and every day and...I never want this to end." He moved to hold up that beautiful pearl ring that was once his mothers. "Will you Marry me Miss Raivynne?"

Raivynne's heart started to fluttering like a million humming birds were in her chest. She did have time to ask herself what he was doing, because there he was attempting a human kneel. Her eyes widened and she made a little gasp. Again the poor girl could barely speak. Then finally she nodded, the nodded faster before replying, "Yes, a thousand times yes." Raivynne was gushing from head to toe with happiness.

Calix perked and beamed as she began to nod faster and faster before moving to glomp her as he stood up quickly holding her in his arms. "You always make a man happy." He beamed moving to show her that ring again as he gently set her down before slipping it onto her finger.

"Now our dreams are coming true, through the good times and the bad, I'll be standing there by you" He moved to gently cup her face and kiss her once more. "I love you" He beamed before moving to Snuggle. He couldn't have been happier.

"If anything is to happen...we will always have each other"

Raivynne bit her lip as she watched him put the ring on her finger. She admired the beautiful pearl ring as it sat there on her finger. Raivynne hugged and kissed him; she could still barely speak she was so happy. Finally able to form words, "I love you Calix." Raivynne wanted to say much more but could only get those words out she was just incredibly happy.

Calix was the happiest centaur alive. Rai had agreed to be his wife, what more could he ask for. He snuggled her close before moving to lay his body beside the bench so he was equal to her as she sat. Her hands in his as he gently kissed them, "Now tell me...are you still worried? I believe we will do well. Immortality isn't in our agenda but a life together is" He beamed. "I say we're going to be alright."

Raivynne blushed as he kissed her hands. She looked to him with big black eyes once more. "No, I'm no longer worried." Raivynne wrapped her arms around him and pulled him close to her so that they were about in inch a part. "A life together sounds perfect so incredibly perfect," She smiled brightly again.

Calix beamed leaning into her hug and snuggled up more, "I'm glad" He smiled moving to kiss her once and grinned "You know...When Ama finds out shes going to squeal so loud that it may scare the whole school" He laughed.

"You're probably right," Raivynne laughed along with him. "So um...I guess we probably better tell someone..." She said with grin, when quite honestly she wanted to stand on Mount Olympus and shout it at the top of her lungs she was so happy. Rai tried to calm down a little bit and stop smiling so wide, but the grin just kept on coming back.
