Prefered weapon- Axe....BTW See the axe he's holding, he wields two of them at the same time and there not his main weapon, his main axe is a double bladed one that is taller than him and he can pick it up one-handedly...Dude I'm scared already xD

Abilities- Dude the guys strength is scary, I mean he was born with it and he can lift up to twice his own body weight, his weight is practically all muscle, but its lean, strong muscle so he's not bursting at the seams with biceps the size of beachballs. Plus his endurance ain't too shabby


Personality- Short tempered, ruthless and dangerous this Viking is one nasty mother. Lets put it as the guy who would break and bottle over your head then shank you with it. The only thing nice about him is his looks which has been the downfall of many. Constantly wearing a perma-frown, so if he smiles or smirks at you then I'd suggest running far far away. To top it off he's sexist to all non-viking women (so thats practically everyone at the Athenaeum). There are hardly any limits on his behavior, he will RAEG, break something (most often someones face) and then go away and calm himself down. He hates and fights with a passion and is extremely hot-blooded. He will refuse to speak english (even though he can) and he can speak Danish (since he's a dane) and German (cos he raided germany alot). Overall his logical intelligence is low but when it comes to fighting he is a lot smarter, since this is what he was raised to do. Most tolerable in the mornings but not by much. DON'T EVEN TRY TO TALK TO HIM IF HE'S TIRED BECAUSE HE WILL FIND ENERGY TO SMASH SOMETHING ON YOUR FACE! He can actually sing and draw rather well but you tell anyone and your dead. He's not a dopey drunk and is a lot more sociable among people he knows and get along with (Why would you get along with this guy!?) You are safer if you are a friend (but only marginally). He will stay quiet around strangers unless he shouts but the quiet is not a OMG HE'S SHY OMG SO CUTE QUIET...its a OMG DEATHLY QUIET MIGHT SNAP AT ANY MINUTE AND SHARPEN HIS AXE ON MY FACE! You get my point...Can you see why Ares was interested. He takes vicious glee in tormenting people from countries he has raided...so y'know you english guys best watch out for this Dane. He's not considered a 'bully' since he doesn't actively seek out people to make them miserable since he will only irritate himself, so as long as you stay out of his way you'll be good.

Nobody knows if Björn was born evil or just turned that way. His real story started when he was around 7-8 and he was rather reknowned already in the village, the son of a traitor that had been allowed to live since the chief had been gracious. Kids were frightened of him, of his strength. When he saw another boy being picked on by the other children, without even knowing who the boy was he went in and saved him from the bullies, beating the others till they ran away and left the stranger alone. Trygve (the boy) was constantly bullied by others, he had never seen Björn before but from that day he always had his back, when Trygve was bullied he'd always seem to show up and save him....there was no need to understand why...

Trygve didn't have any friends, he guessed it was because he was too weak for a Viking, but despite Björn's strength he was the lonely one. They were like opposites complementing each other, Björn would teach Trygve how to fight and Trygve would keep him company. Things were different back then, they were different...But things changed...

When they came of age wars and raids came, traveling across the sea's to take and massacre. Trygve always wanted to be a trader not a warrior but since he was friends with Björn he was grouped in with the raiding parties. Björn loved war, the clash of steel, the gush of blood and the thundering roars. He saw it as the epitome of strength where there was no room for weaklings. However Björn saved Trygve countless times in the midst of battle, he didn't think he had a choice since he was the only friend he had ever had. If it wasn't for Björn, Trygve would have died a hundred times over.

Yet...when the dust of wars and raids had settled and they returned home Trygve was the one who was praised, he was acknowledged and Björn was ignored. However Björn was used to being ignored by everyone his entire life, Trygve returned as a hero and suddenly he had friends and he met Astrid who gave birth to Gunnar. And thats when Trygve started ignoring Björn aswell.
Björn concluded that their 'friendship' was based solely on needs and that he had nothing else to offer Trygve. Björn left to go on more and more raids and battles, hardly ever home and he killed many, most of them were innocent...

Björn came back one day much to people's and Trygve's surprise. Nobody knows why but Björn said it was because his 'friend' needed him. Astrid was always 'away' in the evening and whenever Trygve found her she's be 'talking' with one of his so called 'friends'. Bjorn knew what was going on and Björn taught her on Trygve's behalf, asking him if he ever wondered where all those bruises came from. Bjorn saw Trygve as too weak to handle his own wife! He tried to kill Astrid and Trygve was furious that he had almost succeeded leading to a battle between to 'ex best friends'.

Bjorn was tired of Trygve taking which was rightfully his...He wouldn't let his 'friend' outshine him anymore.

Trygve asked if Bjorn would want Gunnar to grow up without his parents to which he replied;
"HAH! What could you offer him? Love? Care? HAH! Diffuse emotions are worthless in this world. STRENGTH. IS. EVERYTHING!

It was revealed in this battle that Trygve knew why Björn had really returned, he hadn't returned because of Astrid or him he had returned because of Gunnar...Trygve took his own life instead of letting Björn kill him and take over his family and Björn was disgusted by this act of 'cowardice'. He left his friend to bleed in the snow alongside his dying wife and their son who was hiding behind a tree. His parting words to his dying friends were;

"When war and raids come, your son won't stand a chance, he will live and die a pathetic death, like yourself!"

Ares was baffled by this brutality and immediatly picked Bjorn out of his Norse time and took him straight to the Athenaeum where his is now chained in the Dungeon somewhere....

And he is pissed..
