Bjorn plonked himself down inside the box with the black horse; the creature giving a few snorts in objection and fear but soon it settled down when it realized that the student wasn't going to do and didn't feel like causing any harm. He still walked with a limp after discharging himself from the infirmary after the months recovering and what was really odd was that he was not carrying any weapons...

Okay, he was carrying one weapon, but seriously it had about the damage appeal of a butterknife. That was about as close to weapon less that Bjorn was ever going to get.

His hair was loose except for two braids (that were tiny compared to his usual one) which were in front of his ears. The strange thing was that his hair appeared to be shorter as it only came a little further down his shoulders instead of its usual waist length. Hmmm how odd. He wore a simple white cotton tunic (not tied with its usual cord around the waist as it would only aggravate his injuries), light brown pants that were tucked into soft leather boots of a darker brown.

He had seemed to wobble into the box now that I think about it; yeh..a kind of unsteady, drunken wobble and his hands had been shaking when he had opened the bolt on the box's door. Perhaps it was the sleep deprivation and he just needed somewhere to rest; away from the too clean scent of the infirmary in someplace that at least smelt more familiar...Fresh straw, the warmth of something else being there with him and the gentle light that filtered into the stable. The horse looked fierce and keen but in reality was a rather gentle beast as it laid down and didn't have any objections to the viking lying against its side as long as said viking stroked its muzzle distractedly. It whinnied in approval at the gentle yet rough touch of the calloused hand on its nose and nuzzled into Bjorn's palm.

At least he had found one creature at the Athenaeum that he could bond with.

((Anyone can join in ^^ Bjorn is not up to fighting anyone at the minute, so who knows what could happen ^^ Plus this forum needs to get alive again! -wheels the forum to A&E-))

((Jumps at a chance at a Bjorn RP 8D. Why do we all love Bjorn so much? No idea. But we do ~ <3 ))

Cosette skipped across the Athenaeum grounds, humming to herself as she went, a few sugar cubes stashed in her pockets. She didn't really have a reason to visit the horses other than she liked to feed them little snacks.

A couple whinnied as the spied her, knowing they were going to get sweet treats. And she pat their noses accordingly, cooing ballads to them as she stroked them and let them lick the sugary goodness off her hands.

She smooched a couple of them loudly on their soft velvety noses and continued down the like of stalls, giving at least one sugar cube to each horse. That is, until she got to a stall that was occupied by more than a horse. Laying there, looking content and sleepy, was the big fellow she had seen a couple times before. One of which she had used her healing abilities on him and dragged him to the infirmary.

She blinked in surprise. Had he healed already? Or had he broken out of the infirmary still wounded. She had to admit, he seemed like the type to do something like that...

(( xDD but he's ebil ))

The viking gave a guttural groan as agony blossomed in his abdomen and he shifted himself to try and soothe it; one hand clawing at the straw and another resting on his stomach as if that would calm to pain.

He sneezed as soon as the pain started to ease off and made it flare again, the blonde couldn't help but arch of the straw and writhe a little; blue eyes squeezed shut as his muscles contracted and his bones ached.

Then the pain was gone and Bjorn flopped back down onto the straw, forehead peppered with sweat and chest heaving as though he had run a marathon. He gave a little sigh that mingled with a rough cough and leant back against the horse again to sleep...

Then he heard the girl...

He had to twist his whole body as his shoulders ached too much for him to turn his neck alone and with some effort he switched positions and saw a dark haired girl standing at the door of the horsebox.

His thoughts gnawed at him...he had seen her before...somewhere....

He 'hmphed' and tried turning himself back round to lay on his back again, but agony shot through his side and his teeth ground into a snarl and his fingers clawed into the straw as he dealt with it for the short while it would last.

((And?))

"Etes-vous d'accord?" Seti asked worriedly as the big blonde writhed in pain. His wounds definitely weren't healed yet. "Avez-vous besoin de moi pour vous guérir de nouveau?" she asked and cautiously stepped forward a couple feet. Looking a bit like a mother hen hovering protectively over a chick curled up in a make-shift hay nest.

"Sssshh" he hissed at her through gritted teeth and sank into the straw against the still animal. He then made pressed a finger to his chapped, cracked lips and the dropped his hand away from his face and shut his eyes; his mouth set in a scowl as was the norm for him. Bjorn also did make a childish little wave of the hand to make the hovering female to keep her distance.

He was such a grumpy sod.

Cosette fell to the ground, with a pout. But didn't make any noise other than a soft exasperated sigh. Why wouldn't he let her help him?
