Bjorn knelt in the centre of the training square, running his calloused hands over the patterns on the twin blades he had carried with him to the square for a little practice. He wasn't happy (he never is) especially because he'd been wanting to hunt down some more lively targets to practice his axes on, but wood nymphs were tricky creatures to catch so the Viking had returned to the training square with its mundane, un challenging wooden dummies. He threw one of the axes powerfully at the dummy, it cleaving straight through the head and thudding into the wall behind. Growling he walked to retrieve it and made a casual swing at the remaining split head, slicing it straight of the body and it thud heavily into the dust. Yanking the axes twin out of the wall, he started walking around the edge of the ring with the dummies, lopping off the heads with hardly any effort. By gods he wanted LIVE target practice...he'd...ummm...lets say lost his sparring partner for the sword class. Everything bothered him about this place, he never got the choice in coming here one of them greek 'gods' forced him here and now he couldn't leave. The place was unnatural, too peaceful, crawling with greeks and other cowards...he didn't like it....not one bit, but he had to get fresh air to help heal the wound that green eyed dog had given him in the dungeon. Just wait till he saw him again...He struck the last dummy with force and the body spilt in two.

Eos walked to the training square, intent on teaching his class, or destroying some dummies...

But as he saw the training square, and the giant blond 'student' inside it he turned around and walked away quickly.

Bjorn caught a glimpse of a certain enemy as he finished his massacre of his dummies the only thing left of them being splinters and shards of wood. He walked after the teacher almost silently and then when he was in a clear line of sight, threw one axe so it thudded into the ground just behind the teachers ankles and he didn't say a word.

Maybe he would get his live target practice after all

Eos froze. And turned seeing an axe at his feet. A deep rumble in his chest... was the other blond trying to pick another fight?

"Hvad er dit navn?" he asked.

His lips curled in disgust as the greek used his language, his mother tongue and butchered it in the process.

"Giv mig en kamp, og jeg vil give dig mit navn" he shot sharply and motioned with his hand, his snarl of disgust twisting into a wicked, feral grin. The viking made flat, human teeth looked deadly.

"smide det dengang" he wondered if the man would be able to lift it properly or if he would show a look of suprise when he found out how heavy the axe was. It was about 7st all in all, the weight of a petite women but Bjorn wielded them casually as if they weighed no more than a few pounds.

"I already gave you a fight," Eos said as he looked down at the axe that fit the giant dane standing in front of him.

He reached down with his right hand and was glad he did, because it weighed more than he thought it would, he needed to heft it up and lean it against his shoulder. There was no way he could throw that with one hand, and yet the dane threw them around like daggers. What did he eat? What was he, that thing didn't seem human.... Instead he held it on his shoulder waiting for an answer.

"Praksis Kamp, jeg er en studerende efter al" he replied with venomous sarcasm and juggled the remaining axe around in his hand, just begging for a fight. "Nu vil du smide den tilbage, men du kan ikke?" Bjorn's laugh was deep and rough, like sandpaper laced with posion before he spat into the dust at his feet, blood mixing with spit and he leered at the Spartan. Bjorn knew he wasn't able to throw it back properly but not even attempting to give him back his axe was a little more than weak.

"Patetisk"

Eos grit his teeth. The dane was poking at him, wounding his pride. He took the axe in both hands, and all of a sudden it felt a lot lighter, and hurled it at the dane. Not caring wether it hit him or not. His demigod blood and his anger giving him a little boost of strength.

"You are a student after all."

Bjorn smiled in vicious glee as the heavy wooden handle knocked into his wound, making a bruise and opening the fragile healed skin, blood starting to dribble down without even a wince. Casually he picked the axe up like one would do a dropped book and then sharpened them on each other slowly, violent sparks flickering from the grinding metal. Then, despite his injury, he raced forward the hefty axes hardly hindering him as he struck out, sharp edge, to the mentors knee's.

The god damn dane didn't even wince as he wound started bleeding again, he grinned and ran happily into a fight. Eos jumped back just in time to get a nice sized slice taken out of his thigh just above the knee. Damn it! The dane liked to go for the legs... he would remember that.
Eos was very glad he had brought his spear with him, he picked it back up, having set it down to throw the axe.
Payback, he thought happily as he aimed for the legs, like the dane had. The dane that still hadn't told him his name.

The spear just caught the edge of his thigh and made a rip through the skin, a fleshwould nothing more but Bjorn was starting to feel a little strange from bloodloss. But he didn't let it hinder him as he aimed downwards with an axe to split the spear in two. But he did managed to get in a few ego hurting jabs before doing so.

"Sjusket flytte" he commented on the teachers move before bringing the axe onto the shaft of the spear.

Eos flinched as the Dane's axe came down, splitting his spear in half. The would of the wood breaking made him wince... that actually hurt more than a physical wound. He had had that spear for what felt like forever.

He agily crouched grabbed the xithos on strapped to his thigh and rimed toward the Dane's gut. Beverly pissed off about his spear...

The small dagger slashed across his abdomen and left a jagged bloody line, it wasn't bad since it would only leave a scar but bloodless piled upon more bloodloss made the vikings crimson vision tint pink as white started to drip into his eyesight. Instead of swinging his axe he kicked out at his close enemy, aiming for the face or neck. He knew when he was beat but he wouldn't withdraw, never surrender until he knew he wounded the enemy as much as him. Blood ran in a curtain down his stomach to his waist where it soaked into the rope cord looped around his hips.

The Dane's foot thumped into Eos' chest and hit a still healing wound from Jack. He fell back onto his legs, which only made him wince. Both legs throbbing, they had really taken a beating that week.

He kicked at the Dane's heels. Too tired to stand, but certainly not done fighting, he just wanted to see the other blond fall.

No, he would never fall...never...

"aldrig...aldrig.." he dropped into a crouch almost on his knee's and leant forward on a hand, coughing up a copious amount of blood. His inkling of respect for the teacher had grow slightly, the spartan had not given up and that deserved a small amount of respect. Bjorn would not hit again, the fight was ended and neither had won. He used to train novices sometimes but just as he swung to his feet and was about to offer a hand to the fallen Greek his Norse pride and his natural personality came back. He had never helped an enemy and wasn't planning on doing so anytime soon. This man was greek, an enemy all in all and as Bjorn walked off, one axe on a shoulder the other dragging in the dust he shot a sentence back at the mentor.

Eos sat for a second watching the dane walk away... no Bjorn walk away, he corrected himself. So he did accomplish something, he knew his name now. And maybe he had accomplished something else too, for a second he thought Bjorn was going to help him up....

Hmm, next time, Eos thought. Then realized maybe he wouldn't need to fight the dane again, and laughed at himself. Someone that full of hate? As a mentor Eos was pretty sure he would at least be breaking up fights having to deal with Bjorn.

He stood, amused expression still plastered to his face. He had gotten a kick out of that fight, both physically and metaphorically.

"Glad I could help," he murmured as he started the long walk to the infirmary.
