Addi rolled her eyes, looking simultaneously amused and vexed. "You men... Can't you just get along?" she said sounding mildly exasperated.

Addi sighed in a long-suffering sort of way, a shadow of a smile crossing her face. "Honestly.... If the two of you kill each other I'm not gonna be happy Eos."

Addi gave him a skeptical look for a moment before deciding trust him about that one.
"Well I hope you two mange to settle this whole thing soon so you can start dating Tahi and quit moping all the time" she grinned cheekily.

"I do not mope all the time," he said with a hopeful grin. If he could hold Tahi's hand without getting wind magiced to death, he would be an extremely happy demigod.

Addi gave him another cheeky grin. "Ok maybe no aaaaall the time" she admitted. "But you are rather mopey sometimes," she giggled elbowing his side gently.

" 'silly' is something I most certainly am not," he said in a very serious voice, but the effect was ruined by his grin. He couldn't help teasing his little sister.

Addi giggled, reaching up to fuzz her brother's hair. "Oh yes you are, and now your hair matches your silliness," she grinned.

Addi giggled, snuggling up with her brother. "Oh yes I do" she said with a grin, poking his arms.

"Look at all that muscle! And then I'm just a stick," she said with a cutesy pout.

Eos laughed. Addi was so... he was glad he met her. Very glad.

"I was raised as a soldier. You were... well.. you probably ate less than I did when I was younger," he said very matter-of-factly as he wrapped a hand around her wrist. His fingers overlapped.

Addi laughed along with her brother, watching in slight amazement as his hand engulfed her wrist. "Well... that's almost definitely true" she said with a grin.

"A scant diet of fish and whatever else one could scrounge up until they managed to get good at it does tend to have that affect on one." she said with a wry smile. "I wasn't a very good 'hunter,' and I use that term loosely, until I was about 10," she admitted.

"Really? Did you.. never meet your parents?" he asked curiously. He couldn't believe she had lived if she had been abandoned right from the start. How would a newborn baby live by itself. Admittedly, it had been awhile since Eos was around a baby. But he specifically remembered them being very soft and easy to break.

Addi shrugged noncommittally. "I don't remember much from before I was five.... or was it six? Actually..." she said quietly furrowing her brow. "I'm honestly not sure how old I am" she admitted.

"As for parents" she said in an offhanded sort of way. "I sometimes think I remember there being someone that cared for me before I lived on that island... but I don't know if they were actually my parents or not. I don't even remember their faces. I've always assumed they were something I just dreamed up.... though I do kinda wonder if they were real." She finished giving him a sheepish, half smile.

Addi leaned her head in his shoulder peering off at nothing much.

"If they were real, I imagine they abandoned me once they figured out what I was... Who wants a mythological monster for a daughter, right?" she said with a sarcastic grin.

"I don't think so," he thought aloud. "If someone gave you up Addi. I'm sure it was because they couldn't keep you," he told her and pat her head.
