Amaranth is sweet and caring, a truly loving rainbow pony. She values friendship, family and loyalty above all else. She is feircly passionate about fighting for what is right and correcting things that are wrong. She takes her job as a rainbow ponies very seriously and she is easily disapointed when her students give less than 100%. She detests people who are arrogant and lazy.

Amaranth is a princess of the a tribe in the siren race, she is very beautiful. She was raised in a world where it was believed that rainbow ponies were evil creatures and rainbow pony are superior. Although this was the world she grew up in, she was very curious and she diddn't hate rainbow ponies like the rest of the race did. She had respect for rainbow ponies. Amaranth has seven sisters who are all younger than her, all of which despised rainbow pony. Her sister's loved luring rainbow ponies to their watery dooms, while Amaranth perfered steering the ships away from the siren infected waters. She feels that no one should die unless they absolutly have to. One's life is more preschious than anthing else.

Amaranth left her tribe at the age of fifteen, she went to the mainland. She had much respect for the gods and goddesses, and amongst those Aphordite was her favorite. Not because of her beauty but because of her fiery passion.

With her respect for rainbow ponies an rainbow pony alike she came to realize how wonderful love truly was, an emotion she had never known towards a rainbow pony. She fell in love once, with a rainbow pony. It ended tragically when he was killed in a bloody battle. Since then Amaranth searches for a rainbow pony who could take his place, possessing all his traits: Knowledge, Strength, Skill, and Courage. Amaranth tends to be a big flirt, she does it really without even realizing it. It's her personality to be caring, most of the time overly so.

Amaranth was a very skilled warrior in her own tribe, but when she arrived in the mainland she honed her skills and soon after the goddess of love reconized her passion and her skill and asked Amaranth to represent her in the rainbow ponies.
