Amaranth and Adratos[PRIVATE]

Amaranth sighed as she sat on a rock inside the training square, watching the sun rise. She wore her Mentor's clothes, not feeling up to putting on her battle armor. Her whip rested coiled on her waist and her sword leaning against the rock. She looked up at the sky, not a cloud int sight, she smiled and thought. This is going to be a very good day, but the sun is red so it's going to be very hot.

Amaranth stood up and decided to begin stretching, she fully intended on a fight and to spar her best she needed to be loose enough to manuver herself out of the line of attakcs. The beyond the roped off area was wet with dew. Amaranth smiled. Look's like i can conjur magic as well.

Amaranth stretched out her legs getting and her arms. She went into a full bridge and then flipped a back hand spring. Smirking to herself, Seems like im stretched enough to be able to fully manuver. I should practise my magic a bit since I am early.

Amaranth walked then stood still in the center of the training square, she took a few deep breaths and found her center. Her eyes snapped open and she turned around in one fluid motion water appeared out of thin air and circled around Amaranth, yet not getting her wet. Her arm motions got more rapid as the waters spiraling speed got faster she launched it at the targets in the training square, the water solidified into into long spear like shards of ice, they hit the tree dead on without fragmenting.

Amaranth smiled a light breeze was blowing the wind caught Amaranth's hair and it swayed in the breeze.

Adratos adjusted his belt here his sword was. It was given by his father before he left the tribe, his most precious tresure.

He walked out of his room, before the sun raising, hoping to have a peaceful walk to the training square. And by peaceful, he prayed not to find Calix or Septima. He wasn't in the mood to any of them.

He walked to the training square and found the Siren surronded by water and targeted it to the targets, creating ice spears. Some way, he would like to have magic abilities. It would be interesting.

He approached the mentor and bowed, looking at her, the sun was rising. "Good morning."

Amaranth smiled.

"Good morning Adratos, did you sleep well?"

Amaranth walked over to the rock where her sword was resting and picked it up.

"Well then, shall we begin?"

If sleeping well was defined by not hearing Calix talking, yes he had slept well. Fortunatly, Calix was not in the same year as he.

He nodded at Amaranth's questions and took his sword out of his waist belt. "I'm ready" he said, looking serious.

Amaranth nodded.

"Lets begin."

Amaranth had her sword ready, holding it the way a two handed sword should be held.

"Alright, lets start with you defending, I'm going to attack you, you'll defend my attacks by blocking with the swords. Becasue, the best offense is a good defense."

Amaranth launched herself at him she swun her sword ina downward slash towards Andratos's right shoulder.

Amaranth looked him square in the eye, trying to see through his eyes to what he was thinking. Comming at him from this angle should give him half a second to see the attack comming and another half a second for him to block it...she thought.

Adratos hold his sword with only one hand and listened to Amaranth's words.

"Of course." he said, with a smirk, nodding in understanding.

As Amaranth launched forward ready to attack his shoulder, he quickly moved his sword to block the attack easily.

The swords crashed into each other and Adratos smirked more. "That wasn't hard, ma'am."

Amaranth smirked and jumped back flipping over him and landing next to him her sword at his throat.

"For starters, I don't care if Im a mentor or not, don't call me ma'am. My name is Amaranth and that is what everyone calls me, so please call me Amaranth."

Amaranth applied slight force the sword shifting up closer to his jaw.

"Oh that first one was me warming up, now we get serious."

Adratos placed his sword between his own body and Amaranth's sword, shoving it away.

"As you wish, Amaranth." he smirked, turning back to her, taking a few steps back.

"And now the party is getting started." he said before running towards the siren and swagging his sword, in order to hit her on the waist.

Amaranth fought the urge to blink when she saw him launch at her she jumped back putting her sword between her body and his attack. The sound of metal clashing could be heard. Amaranth jumped back and did a foward slash aimed to lop Adratos's head.

Amaranth smirked. Indeed, the party is just getting started, she thought.

As the swords clashed, Adratos did a step back and when the sword was aimed to cut his head off, he ducked and got ready to slash with a low/high attack.

He smirked, he really missed a good old battle.

Amaranth smirked.
"Too slow."

Amaranth jumped back avoiding the attack and smirking as she ran towards him sliding underneath his massave frame she jumped up now behind him and aimed her sword at his rear left leg.

Adratos wasn't expecting Amaranth to avoid that attack but didn't down his guard. As she jumped back, he got ready for any attacks coming from her and as she tried to slash his leg, he jumped up and back, but couldn't avoid the sword to make a small cut.

"Now we are getting serious." he smirked, racing towards the siren, trying to slash her right shoulder.

Amaranth hadn't expected him to charge at her like that, she jumped out of the way avoiding the attack to her shoulder unfortunatly when she did jump she got a cut in her side.

Amaranth grunted. Damn that hurt, she thought.

Amaranth smirked.
"Indeed we are, Is your leg alright?"

Amaranth twirled around then lunged foward aiming to cut the left side of his body at his waist.

Yosh, he had hit her but he couldn't be too cocky about it.

As she attacked once more, he blocked the attack, being there for a while, each waiting who was gonna break. "Yeah, I'm fine... what about you?" he said with a smirk, suddenly jumping back getting ready for an attack.

Amaranth smiled and conjured up her water magic using it to heal eaist, she sent water at Adratos's leg healing it also.

Amaranth smirked.
"I'm fine now, I hope you are too, wouldn't want that cut to get infected."

Amaranth jumped back again swining at his hand to knock the sword away.

Adratos looked at his leg, perfectly healed.

"Good. But I could treat that later." he kinda envy people who could do magic, since himself would love to know how to do it.

As Amaranth knocked his sword off his hand, making it fall a few meters away from them, Adratos quickly raced away from her, picking up his sword and rushing towards her once more.

Amaranth giggled.
"No, as I said before I wouldn't want that cut of yours to get infected."

Amaranth gasped as he went for his sword and dashed fowards.
At this moment in time Amaranth was really happy she had not pulled an allnighter training and that she got a good nights sleep.

Amaranth lept out of the swords 'killzone,' and dashed foward smirking as she thrust her sword foward so the tip of the sword would be at his throat.

"Come on, it wouldn't get infected that easily. I have worse scars." he smirked

As he missed his shot, his eyes opened wide when the tip of Amaranth's sword was aiming his throat and all he could to was skip to the side, the sword, sliding along his hair.

He twirled around her, appearing from behind of her, placing his sword near her throat.

Amaranth smiled.

"Your much better than you give yourself credit for."

Amaranth used to fingers to push the sword away from her throat she turned around and wraped her arms around his neck.

"I think's its time we finished out warm up and we actually really fought. I won't hold back and I'm going to use every trick in the book that i know to try to cause you damage. When everything is over i'll heal both of our wounds." Amaranth smirked and leaned in to kiss his cheek, she pulled back and smiled, knowing fully that her siren powers were about to come into full effect as soon as she opened her mouth to sing.

"Thank you very m-" he said, before being interrupted by Amaranth's embracing.

A slightl blush appeared on his face, she hadn't been this close to him since the dance but that was something different. He looked at her with a surprised look as she kissed his cheek and a horror look came to his face when he started to sing. That was not fair.

"NO!" he said, covering his ears as the sound of her voice was rushing throught his brain.

Amaranth smirked as she stopped singing she circled around him placing hr sword down against a random rock she knew she could get to it easily, she grabed the whip at her side and cracked it.

She knew he should have calmed down a bit, she reached into the little pouch that she carried and pulled out some bees wax. She walked over to him and placed it into his hand.

"For the next time we train, so you have it, be sure to put it in your ears it'll block out my singing. You'll still be able to hear me talk but you wont be able to hear me sing."

Amaranth smirked.
"Now lets continue, your very good with defense and offense, I would like to believe i was being careless but the truth of the matter is that you did damage me becasue i wasnt fast enough. Now then I would like to see how your sword fairs againt my whip." (that bees wac was totaly taken from the oddessy.)

As he stopped singing, Adratos fell to his knees, panting lightly. He knew how Sirens were. Sneaky, pretty and deadly. Pretty much like normal women but had this killer voice, driving men to insanity.

When Amaranth gave the wax, Adratos nodded, putting them on his ears.

He nodded in understanding as the siren talked and got ready for another fight. She was tricky and fighting with a whip would definitly be a challenge.

Amaranth smirked.

"Hey, Adratos, when I win this fight we should go for a stroll around the grounds."

Amaranth raised her arm and cracked the whip, wrapping it around the edge of adratos's sword, all she had to do was apply pressure for it to come flying out of his hands.

As the whip wrapped around Adratos sword, he smirked.

"If you win." he said as he pulled the sword into him, dragging Amaranth along, getting ready to punch. Even though you shouldn't do that to a lady,

Amaranth smirked and slid under Adratos taking the whip and his sword with her.

"Tsktsk."

Amaranth took the whip and kicked his sword back to him.

"If you wanted to hug me you could have asked."

Amaranth laughed as she launched the whip at his front left leg intending to do damage to slow him down. Now then, once i slow him down i'll switch back to my sword and finish this fight. She thought.
