Amaranth smiled and sat down next to Kal.

"NOt much that's new, and Oh i need to go see Tahi, I also have some fabrics that she would love, i need to make a new dress for her."

Amaranth giggled, she loves Tahi, she's like another sister to her. That makes nine sisters

Amaranth looked at Kall.
"I think we're going to be related very very soon Kallistrates."

Amaranth hoped he wouldn't take that the wrong way, she ment that she wanted to adopt Tahi, she could picture her and Tahi sneaking away from the athenaeum to go shopping somewhere. They have so much in common.

Hermes smirked.

"She really likes that centaur? Well, looks like Dio has coompetition. I hope the drunked fool doesn't do anything foolish."

Hermes leaned in and kissed Calla, he smiled.

"In a little while let's go join them again, but for now let's enjoy eachother's company."

Tahi heard her brother enter the bathhouse from her private bath. She had avoided the commotion over on the other side, because she was looking for a little peace and quiet - but that didn't stop her from eavesdropping. Given that she could manipulate the winds, and the winds carried everything said in them to her, there wasn't a lot going on that she didn't know about.

Tahi giggled as she listened to the antics of her classmates and mentors. But now her brother had entered the fray, and was flirting - as usual. At one point she had hoped that her brother and Amaranth would get together. That way she could have Kal's room to herself and be rid of Severa for good, but no such luck.

She had spoken with Calla last night, and apparently Amaranth had a crush on a certain student! She was probably only flirting with Kal because - well, as a siren that was kind of her nature, and she maybe wanted that student to become a little jealous.

At any rate it was something Kal should know about. Summoning her powers - her eyes turning bright white as she did so - Tahi pushed the breeze carrying Calla's words towards Kal.

"... Lady Amaranth is involved with a student, the centaur."

Well, now he knows. Tahi though.

She liked Amaranth a lot - but, NOBODY, and she meant NOBODY, played with her brother without her express permission.

"I'd rather just stay here with you," she said, blushing at her words.
She liked being around friends and stuff, but not really when half were guys and the only thing she was wearing was a towel. She looked up at him and smiled.
"If you want, we can go now," she gave in, kissing his lips again.

Kal was listening to his sister's news, and was only really half paying attention. Amaranth was saying something about new dresses... He smiled inwardly - his sister and Amaranth were two peas in a pod... And now she had found someone she really liked. He was happy about that, even if the news made him a little lonely. They were pretty similar too. The flirts of the Athenaeum, he and Amaranth. Kindred spirits, always playing games with one another, but never really pushing too far. Always a temporary relationship, in it for the fun of it. And now Amaranth had someone she really cared about. He sighed. He wished he could feel the same way. But maybe that just wasn't in his nature. He was too flighty for a stable relationship...

Kal was so lost in his thoughts he only caught the very last of what Amaranth was saying

" we're going to be related very very soon Kallistrates."

"WHAT?!?!?!?!" Kal sat up, a bewildered look on his face. His normally flawless control slipped a little bit, and everything that wasn't weighted down flew into the air as a miniature tornado appeared in the small bath.

Amaranth giggled.

"Your taking it the wrong way, Im totally gonna adopt Tahi."

Amaranth got hit by a gust of wind, knocking her back her towel came off and she secured it before standing up.

"What the hell was that for. I told you you're overreacting. Tahi is like a sister to me, it was a joke, get over it."

Amaranth scowled. The wind had left a big red mark on her shoulder where it had impacted. She had to smirk, he normaly has perfect control but this time he slipped.
Hermes nodded.

"That would be nice...don't worry Calla, i'll protect you from the other men. I won't let them lay a hand on you."

The wind ceased instantly. "Oh." Kal said, his pale skin flushing bright red as he realized what he had done.

"I'm sorry Amaranth. I... took that the wrong way... I know you and Tahi are close, but I thought you were talking about us, and then, well Tahi passed on a few pieces of gossip of her own, and well... " He realized he was babbling, and stopped sheepishly. He reached out to her bare shoulder, where a nasty red mark had bloomed - proof of his loss of control. He circled the other arm around her other side, drawing her closer in. "Let me see that. I'm a fairly decent healer. I'll fix it for you."

Meanwhile, in her own bath, Tahi was getting ready to try out some of the new oils she had bought on her last trip with Kal. They were exotic, and smelled heavenly, and she was really excited. Besides the gossip from the other bathhouse was getting boring. Calla and Hermes were.... together.... and Tahi 1) liked Calla to much to intervene and 2) knew just how bad it was to interrupt a God when they were busy - so she shut that conversation out of her minds, directing the winds to be silent for a while. And in the other bath Amaranth and her brother were... making up?

Tahi shrugged. Kal knew everything now. If he chose to flirt with Amaranth that was his business - and hey - maybe they would end up together. She loved Amaranth like a sister already - so Tahi wouldn't mind giving her brother away. No - some things a little sister didn't need to hear, Tahi thought, and directed the winds from that direction to be silent as well.

She looked around for her new oils, and found... Nothing. She must have placed them in a different private bath. Sighing, she wrapped herself in a towel and re-traced her steps, trying to find them. She searched through all of the private baths with no luck. Finally there was only one left. The winds blew at her - as if they had something to say about that one last door, but Tahi ignored them. She had told them to be quiet - darn it - and she was the boss. She was 19 and she was fully in control of her magic. Sending the winds away, she opened the last bath, only to find, not only her bath oils, but also her friend Calla, and the God of Messengers himself - wrapped up in each others arms..

Tahi blushed. "Umm... Wrong bath?" she stammered, grabbing the oils and closing the door.

Calla's face turned bright red as she saw Tahi. She covered her face and shook her head, trying to calm herself down.
"Why does everyone always have to interrupt?" she groaned, leaning against him.

Adratos glanced over to the new comming mentor and tried to ignore all the flirtation. But what was driving him nuts was that Amaranth was flirting too. He glared over to the two, his red eyes flaming as he listened to the conversation.

He took several deep breaths in order to calm himself down.

Amaranth blushed.

"Oh it's fine, Kall...I'll heal it later."

Amaranth glanced over to Adratos as if saying help me please.

She sighed.

As Amaranth refused Kall's healing, Adratos calmed a bit. The water seemed to be hotter because of him, being so pissed.

He eyed her by the corner of his eyes and closed his eyes again.

Amaranth sighed.

"Thank you for the offer, but I'll be fine."

Amaranth slowly broke out of Kall's emrabce and waded back deeper into the water.

Did the Neried and Naiads make the water warmer, Amaranth thought.

She sighed and sat down next to Adratos resting her head against the tile she gazed down at the red mark on her shoulder. she sighed and began to heal it. She smiled once it was fully healed, no aweful red mark on her skin anymore.

Adratos looked as the wound healed by itself and sighed "You didn't tell me you were hurt." he growled, quite disappointed.

Amaranth looked up at Adratos.

"Im sorry..I diddn't want to worry you."

Amaranth glanced at her shoulder, fully healed.

"It was just a surface wound, nothing serious...it was just red from where that little tornado hit me...I'm fine."

Adratos glanced over to the siren "It could be deeper........ I know I don't have magical powers but I know how to heal a wound without using stamina." he said, sighing.

Amaranth nodded.

"Would you like to take a look at it later? To make sure it's not deeper."

Amaranth smiled and rested her head on Adratos's shoulder.

Adratos flushed red at Amaranth's words.

"If you say it's necessary.... Even though it's healed" he said, shrugging his shoulders.

Amaranth smiled and wrapped her arms around Adratos's torso.

She sighed, the water feels wonderful.

"I think the water's temperature was warmers a minute ago."

The water should feel warmer with my body temperature, Adratos thought but quickly shook his head.

"The nereids may be neglecting her work...." he mumbled.

Amaranth nodded.

She smiled and splashed Adratos.

She leaned in and kissed him and then went back to splashing him.

Adratos pushed Amaranth slowly away "Could you not to that in public? Please?" At least, not in front of Septima. She would make fun of him to death.
