Amaranth sighed as Severa pushed her away and acted very cold. She should know by now that, that is her personality and thats she's just narutally a clingy person. Amaranth bowed her head nd mumbled excuse me to Eien and Sev and then looked up smiling as she spotted Raivynne talking to Hermes's new warrior.

Amaranth smiled and made her way across the floor stopping in front of Rai and hugging her. "Hello Rai." Amaranth giggled and looked over the girl, yes...she did a wonderful job making her look wonderful. Amaranth scanned the dancefloor searching for her darling Adratos and Calix. "Rai, have you seen Adratos?"

She smiled and turned to the new student. "Hello, my name is Amaranth i am mentor for Aphordite, It's a pleasure to meet you." she held her hand out for the new student to shake.

Lyra sighed, her eyes ever searching the room, a smile spread across her makeup painted face as she saw both Raivynne and Zephyra enter. She smiled and made her way over to Zaphyra and Tahi. "Hello girls, you both look wonderful." She smiled and looked over Zeph a smirk on her face. "Ama got you too eh?" Se looked over at ehr shoulder eyes pointing to the ricidilous wings.

Calla hesitated and stood outside the ballroom, too nervous to go inside. She fiddled with her sleeves as she watched the people go inside. They hadn't seen her since she was hidden behind a column in the shadows. The Charis then took a deep breath and lifted her half-mask, the one Tahi and her roommate had picked out to hide her heterochromia, and slipped it on. She was careful not to mess up her hair, because gods forbid, if one thing was wrong with her appearance, she'd be torn apart by Amaranth and Tahi. She turned and made sure that everything was in place before shyly stepping out and toward the ballroom, entering and her eyes widening in astonishment at how beautiful it all looked. Morpheus had really done a wonderous job. She smiled and walked inside, spinning around to take it all in. She then looked at all the people dancing and smiled to herself slightly. Maybe it wasn't so bad that she had come after all...but then again, her night could still get ruined.

As she walked through the ballroom, the lights made her wings sparkle, even glow in the soft light. She felt a little self-conscious, turning her head slightly to avoid meeting people's gazes. She may have felt a bit better about coming, but she still wished her dress was blue. Calla tucked a lock of her now-long, blonde bangs behind her ear. The Siren and Nephelae had added hair extentions, making her hair longer. She wasn't quite sure if she was going to keep it, however, after this ball was over. It would get tiresome and in the way when she was fighting or training, especially with her wind magic.

He had refused to go but he had to. He had promised Amaranth, hadn't he? And he felt so ridiculious but it was only for one person. With his small moustache, he stepped inside the ballroom, trotting and looking around for the blue haired lover of his.

As he spotted her, he smirked and walked towards her and bowed at her "Well, well. What a wonderful lady I have here.... I hope her boyfriend doesn't see me kissing her hand." he said, while he took her hand and gave a kiss. "You look wonderful."

Amaranth smiled as Rai blinking as she turned around and came face to face with Adratos bowing to her. Amaranth blushed at his comment and then giggled. "I dunno if my boyfriend can get angry since he's the one kissing my hand." She smiled at him, her eyes roaming over his costume...ingenius. He looks fabulous, mysterious and sexy. She giggled to the little mini mustache, shockingly it looked good.

"Why thank you, you look wonderful as well." She smiled and wrapped her arms around him and hugged him close. She looked up at him with warm loving eyes, suddenly the music started to play....he did promise her four dances.

Amaranth smiled. "Adratos....is it alright if we dance?" She mumbled, actually asking him instead of pulling him along.

(Its hard not to spot Ama she has blue hair and wings for crying petes sake. Oh and Darky what happened to the sexy Latin accent we talked about? hahahha)

[Septima Severa]

Severa quickly glanced over the newcomer with quite the creepy mask on. She turned to Cedric. "If you insist," she said with a playful smile. "But you'll have to come and collect it."

She turned to the boy again when Cedric had gone and accepted his proposal to dance, putting her arm around his shoulders and praying to the Gods (except for Mars, she wouldn't give him the satisfaction) that he wouldn't try and teach her some fancy dance like Morpheus had. That hadn't turned out well.

"Even with the mask I can tell that I've not seen you before, are you new around here, or just a visitor?" She asked curiously. "In any case, my name is Severa Saturnina."

Andrasteia felt horrible for being late, well, later than everyone else, but it was worth it to be dressed properly. The floor-length dress and the huge, falconlike mask didn't feel like her, but that was the point of the masquerade. It was a time to act quite unlike yourself. She smiled, a small satisfied one, as she stepped into the ballroom. The black and white was so unlike her...she loved color.

Her eyes swept the room, looking for someone familiar, but it was difficult to see under all the extravagant costumes and masks who was who. Andras stepped further into the large elegant room, walking around the edge so she wouldn't disturb the dancers.

[Tarô]

Tarô pointed to his stitches in the mask as if indicating that his mouth was sealed and so he was completely unable to talk. That made him even creepier and more mysterious somehow.

He nodded indicating he had heard her name and he gently placed his hand on her waist carefully. Then he started moving slowly to a side checking if Severa could follow that rythm.

If there was anything that could be worse for Jane right now, a ball was it. Perfect. She didn't know anyone, she was convinced that if she herded this group into an extremely good psychiatrist's office they'd all have some mental problem, and she was wearing a dress that was so strange to her that she could hardly walk in it. Sure it gave her legs room to move, unlike the tight skirts that were impossible to avoid at home, but she kept tripping over it. Despite herself, Jane did quite enjoy not having to show every inch of skin possible. Maybe if she could just walk...and get this train to stop strangling her...she might even enjoy herself. But first she'd have to meet somebody and talk to them, which she felt only a little better about because it was impossible to tell who was who under the masks.

Adjusting her wig, Jane went over to the refreshments table, picking up a glass of wine. Then as long as she didn't have too many she could avoid embarrassing herself too much. She spotted a group of people who seemed to know each other, and wandered towards them, hoping to learn a little about them from their conversation. It was hard being new and having to meet everyone at a dance.

[Achlys Adonia Argyris]

Adonia approached the ballroom alone. She was quite certain she was very late, but she hoped she might be able to slip in without being seen. As fond as she was of her gown, she had never been to any kind of party before.

Pausing by the door for a moment, she could hear the music calling to her, beckoning her with its sweet, lilting phrases, why she almost felt she could.... She caught herself just as she began to hum along with the tune. She must not under any circumstances allow herself to be carried away by the music. She would not allow herself to cause harm to another soul with her voice.

Taking a moment to steel her resolve before entering, she finally peeked through the doorway, looking for a familiar face in the sea of masks and finery.

"Oh, you can't talk, how convenient," Severa said a little annoyed by the fact that he couldn't talk, but she let herself be led, and the movements were simple enough that even she could follow them, though nearly stepping on his foot once.

"Those stitches are really not conversation boosters," she told him, the silence getting to her. "Nod for yes, you're not from here are you?"

Eien looked around. The room was getting ever more crowded much faster than he thought.

Augustin had asked him what to drink. He found that he didn't recognize most of the beverages on the refreshment table. So he was browsing through it with great interest. Then Raivynne and Cedric came.

"Good evening to you, too, Rai. Your dress fits you perfectly! Oh, hi, Cedric!" He waved with enthusiasm, grinning widely. It may be quite hard to tell who is behind which mask by 'looking', but not so hard if he could hear their voices.

Then he stopped abruptly. The Lampad just remembered about Severa. He hoped that she wasn't lost right now.

Just in case, he did a quick scan around the room. She was still there, dancing with...a guest, perhaps. He didn't recognize him. The Lampad decided to keep a eye on her. Just to make sure she didn't get lost once she's done.

Eien himself is wondering how he's going to spend the night. Probably he'd just talk to the others in the meantime.

"Hey, Ced, do you have anyone in mind to dance with?"

"Sure, Doros. Sorry, I didn't really know most of the people here. But I'll try my best."

The air of nervousness from the boy seemed to have subsided a little. It's probably not Noster, after all. But he's a guest here and he should be treated well.

Then she felt a familiar presence.

"This way, Doros!" Sylphie held the boy's hand and pulled him with her. She couldn't help walking towards the 'presence' excitedly.

"Hi, Calla! Oh, I knew you'd come. I'm so happy!"

"This is Calla, the best Charis here and my dearest friend. Calla, this is Doros. He's a guest."

Ainia watched as everyone danced to the Satyrs' joyful tune. She couldn't help smiling a little. It's been a long time since she felt this 'party mood' back at home. The atmosphere was very different, but the enthusiasm was quite similar.

She looked at the bouquet she's holding and thought for a bit.

Well.... She isn't going to stand here all night doing absolutely nothing. She thought that she should at least talk to someone.

Then she wondered. This is Lady Mnemosyne's birthday party, but she hasn't seen Adelphie anywhere...

Calla jumped and turned, smiling at her Charis friend.

"Sylphaea, you look stunning," she gushed, taking the girls hands. "You really do."

She then looked at the boy and raised a brow. The nervous posture was recognizable, but she didn't say anything, just smiled at him. She looked around at the different people, wondering of the gods had, in fact, come tonight as they did during the Ceremony. She blushed lightly as she thought of Hermes, but quickly shook thoughts of him from her head at the moment. If she didn't start having 'fun' soon, Aphrodite would probably kill her. She turned to Sylphaea again.

"I'll speak with you later, if that is all right. Gods forbid, if I don't find something to do party-worthy, I'll feel the wrath of Lady Aphrodite," she said, shivering slightly. She squeezed the girl's hand before wandering around again. She soon wandered over to the wine table. She frowned this time, seeing no water this time.

"Really? No water?" she muttered.

The girl looked up as she heard a familiar voice. "Eien, is that you?" she questioned, her voice slightly drowned out by the music.

"Thanks, Calla. I can't see it, but I'm sure you look beautiful, too!" Sylphie giggled.

She always felt weird when someone compliments her looks or the other way around. Sometimes it made her really curious about how the world really looks like.

"Sure. Have lots of fun, dear!" she smiled to Calla.

"C'mon, Doros. This way!" She said, holding his hand and leading him elsewhere.

Eien turned when he heard someone call his name.

"Ah! Hi there, Ca--huh?"

He raised an eyebrow. He was pretty damn sure it was Calla's voice. But was it really her? The Charis' wings and the hair says otherwise.

((Lol! I started off trying to make one single OC--Eien. But I really have no idea about his design XD! So I ended up making Sylphie first, then Ainia second, then the idea for Eien came =___=".... By then, I got attached to both Syl and Ai already, so I don't wanna just ditch them ))

Calla flushed under his curious gaze as he tried to figure out who she was. She averted her gaze, her green eye moving about anywhere else. She shifted her weight from one leg to the other.

"W-would you like to dance?" she managed to ask.

"O-of course!" Eien bowed, still a little unsure whether it's Calla. But no other Charis knew him except Calla and Sylphie. And this is certainly not Sylphie. So it may just be...

"I'd be honored to dance with you, m'lady."

Sylphaea, after practicing with Cedric, taught him a little about dancing. But he was a little nervous as this was his first 'actual' dance. But he pushed away the anxiousness and offered a hand to the Charis with a smile.

"This is pointless." Kamoa said under her breath as she lifted the mask over her face. With or without her mask anyone would recognize her due to her hair color.

Now Morph wasn't the only one recognizable in the room. She smiled looking at the student and teachers dance and talk.

"Still...I should enjoy my time here." She whispered closing her eyes to listening to the music.
