Sylphie listened as a different music was played. It was rather strange and new. She had never heard that type of instruments before. Even so, they made a beautiful harmony. She smiled and listened. Humming along, trying to remember the melodious tune.

Aimee shook her head. " No I mean...I don't know anyone...like my classmates...I never talk to them."

"Que?" She tilted her head looking at the glass.

"I guess I can try some...I'm used drinking the wine my tios made in Parral"

Tahi noticed Adonia go pale out of the corner of her eyes, and realized she had hit a sore spot with the siren. Okay - she noted to herself - don't bring up singing in front of Adonia.

Meanwhile, the Amazon asked if they were alright. "We're fine," Tahi replied, in a bubbly voice. Never let anyone know you were on guard against them - that was Tahi's motto. Remembering the flowers Ainia mentioned, Tahi blanched. "They are... still live flowers aren't they? I mean, Auntie Mnem's a dryad. She gets pretty upset when people pick flowers in any of the garden, because it kills them." Tahi motioned to the flowers in her hair, and on her dress. "These are all fake."

Adonia, still attempting to wrestle her feaures into a convincing smile made a mental note never to pick flowers around Lady Mnemosyne...

Tarô kept staring at her for a moment. Then he tried to return to the table with the drinks slowly.

Eli could tell he was hiding something...a dark secret perhaps? Maybe he did something horrifically terrible in the past! The more Elijah thought about it, the more frightened of the stranger she became.

This man could be dangerous. What if he tried to hurt her? Eli watched as the man headed back to where the drinks were. She stared after him. That's when she decided, secret or no, this man was still a person and it was not right of her to judge. Plus so far he had been extremely nice to her.

There was just something about him that made Elijah want to forget about what happened with the drinks and keep dancing with him.
"Wait!!!!" she called after him. "I wish to dance once more...with you.." she blushed a bright red at that last one.

Then she whispered only loud enough for him to hear. "I know you're hiding a secret...but you do not have to tell it to me, I understand...I just want to be your friend..."

"Oh, so you're a student!" Eien looked at her, quite surprised. He knows that it's rather lonely to stay here for years and not know anyone. He didn't know her either.

"Then you should use this opportunity to know people!" He said, smiling and introducing himself, "Eien Flereus, fourth year Lampad. Nice to meet you."

He raised an eyebrow, not knowing the meaning of her words. Another language...?

Eien nodded and poured another glass for her.

Ainia froze at Tahirah's warning.

"Oh, I'm sorry--I didn't know...," she looked away, frowning at her mistake. She hates any kind of mistake. The flowers were freshly picked from the forest...

"Well... It's her birthday. There must be something we can do for her. Got any better plans?"

"Si!" Aimee nodded.

"Yo soy...uh" She shook her head and took a deep breath. "I'm sorry English in not my first language..."

She took sip of her drink before she spoke again. "I am Aimée Lefevre, fourth year, and human...that sounds freaky when I say 'human'." She laughed and took a drink.

"Lampad...it sounds like 'Lampara' from where I come from....It means 'Lamp'." She said looking at his Lampad necklace.

"Coming from another part of the Upperworld, hm? I had heard that they have different languages... It won't be so easy to communicate, no?"

Most people in the Underworld do understand each other. He's not sure if he had ever heard another language down there... The Upperworld must be a lonelier place.

"Haha, that's alright. Tell me if you don't understand something. I'll try my best to explain," Eien said with a grin.

'Fourth year, too...?'

"That's a nice name. And yeah, I'm pretty sure everyone felt weird saying their own race, too," he chuckled, "I mean, you can be a Pleiad, or a Nephelae, but still look completely human! I guess it's necessary to tell..."

"A lamp, huh? Well, our job is to serve Hecate--accompanying her while bearing our undying Lampad flame."

At first Aimee thought than the 'Upperworld' was the 'north' and Underworld 'south', but after he mention Hetace she understood what he was saying.

"I'm not quite familiar with her...I thought only Hades and Fer..Phesphe...." She was having trouble in pronouncing Persephone's name. Lowering her head she mumbled ".....uh his niece lived in the Underworld."


"Ah!Perséfone!!" She said happily remembering how her name was said in her language.

((You guy may need to for give Aimee...she just can't speak well OTL her Spanglish is very good though *shot*))

"The Underworld's quite lively with a lot of other beings and creatures--like good ol' Cerberus," the Lampad grinned and explained, "Hecate may not be as famous as Hades and Lady Persephone, but she's the Goddess of Witches and Crossroads."

Eien found Aimée's accented English rather peculiar by now, but it sure is keeping him entertained by being 'different'.

"Crossroads...?" Aimee tilted her head looking at her cup.

She was very confused now. Crossroads had a goddess? Lost in her thoughts she lowered her head still confused trying to figure out what he meant.

"I don't understand...."
