Cedric sighed and nodded "Yes... I've been told that." he smiled a little bit, remembering the talk he had with Ruarí. Probably not the best example, but at least he lived his life without regrets. "Did you love a man before Jack?"

Addi shook her head gently, face a bit pink. "Its all right... I.. I blame myself for it every day really... But don't fell bad Master Cedric... you couldn't have known." She said cringing guiltily inside as she thought of how she had twisted the facts.

Cedric frowned lightly, hearing her words "You can't blame yourself everyday... if you say it wasn't on purpose, you shouldn't blame yourself." he said, if he could he would reach her hand to make her feel better, but he remained on his seat still.

Addi looked at the floor pensively for a moment before responding. "All you did was leave someone behind. I stole two lives." she said bluntly.

"Adonia..." Cedric almost whispered, feeling her sadness. He didn't what else to say but maybe the words wouldn't be enough. "I'm sure that you, probably one of the most pure persons I've met couldn't have made that on purpose... You regret it but you can't blame yourself.... just like I can't think about it everytime..."

Addi smiled sadly. "I know..." she said rubbing her arm absentmindedly. "Its just difficult to ignore... I still see their faces sometimes in my dreams.." she shuddered and pushed the thoughts and faces away, turning to look at him once more. "I guess its just my burden to bear." she said sheeishly.

Cedric shook his head and adjusted his glasses "No. You do not deserve to carry that burden, throw it over board." he said with a heavy sigh. "Nobody of good should carry such burden... So, Miss Adonia if you please... don't overthink that..."

Cedric did the same. He flipped through the pages but his mind was somewhere. He read the words in the book but he didn't get them like he used.

Adonia continued to flip through the book, rather frustrated by its lack of useful information; finally closing it with a slight snap, and resting her chin on her hand, gazing out a nearby window.

Seeing that Adonia was as tired as he was from reading, Cedric closed his book. "Miss Adonia, what do you say about drinking some tea?" he said with a smile.
