Adoni was not fooled by his nonchalance and began pulling at his arms, trying to get at his stomach so she could try and fix what his careless stupidity had created. "WHERE ON YOUR STOMACH?!"

((pffff eventually I imagine... she's not gonna let him get away with just sitting there with a festering wound ))

Eos shifted uncomfortable, trying to get Adonia to stop grabbing at him. "Addi-" he winced as his arm brushed the cut.

Eos winced again as his little sister screamed at him. "Okay, okay," he said with a defeated sigh and lifted his shirt a little to reveal the puckered red mark.

"Finally" she said in exasperation, shoving his arms aside and pulling his shirt out of her way. "Good grief Eos... Don't be such a baby" she said summoning water from the ground to send into the wound to clean it.

Eos winced once more. Jeez Addi could be pushy when she was pissed off.

"I'm not," he grumbled. "Shouldn't we do this in the infirmary?" he asked.

((This would be the... 3rd... no 4th time in the infirmary?))

Addi rolled her eyes at him. "Yes," she said with as much venom as she could. "But a certain SOMEONE decided to pretend a certain injury wasn't there until it got INFECTED!" she said, sending the water through the wound with a little more force than was strictly necessary.

"I have to clean it up a bit first.... and try to figure out what to do about this fever... Ugh you would fall ill as far away from the infirmary as possible wouldn't you?" she sighed moodily.

He winced a bit more as she shoved her water through the small cut. "Come on, let's just get this over with," he said and got a little more lucid as he stood and started walking toward the main building. Wobbling less than he thought he would.

"It's so small though... I mean how could this little wound mess me up so much?" He unconsciously touched his right eye, the one with the scar over it. That had been infected once. And it was bad. He remembered flitting in and out of unconsciousness for a little more than a month.

Addi scampered after him, watching him carefully to make sure he didn't fall as he wobbled along towards the Athenaeum. "I warned you about this!" she said moodily. "Didn't I tell you that any wound left unattended was going to fester? Honestly, why won't you just listen to me when I tell you these things? You're so stubborn..." she sighed.

"I am not," he grumbled. Well, he knew he could be, at times, but not often. He kept walking listening to Addi sigh at him from behind.

"Yes and the sea is boiling hot and pigs have wings." she said rolling her eyes and coming up alongside him. "If you're not stubborn, then that's news to me. Maybe you're not stubborn around others, but you're plenty stubborn with me." she said failing to suppress a grin. She couldn't stay mad at anyone for long, particularly not her big brother.... even if his moodiness could get quite vexing on occasion.

(Brownie points for anyone who recognizes where Addi's first line in this post comes from XD)

He raised an eyebrow at Addi's cheeky grin. "Hmm then I don't think I'm stubborn..." he mused. That's how his tongue worked, unable to let out a lie, that is only if he knew it was a lie. So it was completely useless to try and use it to his own advantage. He only knew what he knew and being the son of the god of prophecy couldn't change that.
