"Er, yes I can," he told her and watched as she played with his hand. "Ask away Addi, you should probably understand this if you're going to be around me all the time.... If I get angry, it might not end well," he explained. Because he became more volatile when emotional, and would use his power in a situation where he normally wouldn't.

Addi didn't ask right away, but rather continued to turn his hand about in her own for a moment before asking "What is your power, exactly?...." she said glancing up at his eyes, as if hoping they held answers.

"Uhm... welll..." He was going to answer her he just didn't know how to start. "It's... I can control muscle function," he said quickly.

"I don't want to show you. But I can control... movement, and can destroy muscles too. Basically move them anyway I want," he tried to explain without scaring Adonia, and then waited for her reaction.

Addi stared at him blankly. "So... you can control anyone you've touched.... Anyone... Do you take over their mind?" she asked matter-of-factly, still not quite understanding... such a idea was beyond her.

"No," he said simply. "I can't get close to the brain... at all. It like being stuck in a body someone else is controlling... that is if I decide to take someone over fully."

He waited for her to freak out, then realized maybe she wouldn't.

Addi thought about that for a moment. The possibilities were frightening to say the least, but somehow it didn't frighten her coming from Eos... She wrinkled her nose in though before holding out her hand to him saying "Show me."

"N-no Adonia... I don't like to use it unless I have to. It's not a power I should have, that anyone should have. God gave us free will for a reason." It didn't matter that he didn't know the reason, there had to be one.

Addi cocked her head at him. "But I don't understand." she said... "What's free will?" she said wrinkling her nose trying to think if she had ever heard of that before.

"Free will is choices... like," he picked up her hand with his own. "I chose to do that. but if I was controlling someone they have no say in what I do with their body. They could be screaming away in their head but no one would hear it, not even their own body would react," he got a little off topic. but it was Adonia's fault for asking such a hard question.

She fought to subdue the memories those words brought back. She had been guilty of stealing the free will of two men already. "I... I understand" she said quietly. "Sounds like quite a burden to bear."

"It's fine as long as I control it," he told her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders again. "What's wrong Addi...?" Being so close to her he could feel her heart shudder, her muscles twitching.

"Nothing" she lied quickly, praying that he wouldn't notice, but knowing that was probably not possible. "I'm fine.." she finished rather lamely.

"Addi... if you don't want to tell me just say that. Don't lie to me." He disliked it when people lied to him. But understood that 'white lies' were apart of being human, and the whole free will speech he already gave.

"I try not to" she said, flatly, wrinkling her nose and suppressing another shudder. She finally gave in and shook her head, in an attempt to rid herself of the images. It sort of worked... those eyes weren't looking her any more.

She sighed and snuggled up to her surrogate brother. "Thank you for telling me." she said quietly.

Addi snuggled up contentedly. It helped having a big brother to comfort her. "It helps" she said simply. "And hey... at least I can go back to wearing my normal clothes soon" she said with half-grin.

Addi tugged at the sleeve of the dress irritably. "I do love human clothes... they're just so" she continued to tug at the sleeve, "Restricting I guess is the term."

"Really?" he asked. Adonia's usual clothes, he felt, could barely be described as clothes. They were her own scales and a strange skirt-ish thing made out of water. "I guess you're used to your clothes though..."

Adonia nodded vigorously. "They're nice if they're the soft kind that have a more watery feel to them... but these rougher fabrics are soooo... well rough..." She said simply. The dress in question was really quite normal as far as softness goes, but to Addi, the more fluid the material, the more at home she felt in it. "Fluffier" fabrics made her feel claustrophobic.

((indeed... he he Well, I did originally describe as being unintentionally sensual in some aspects ^^''''' She hates that, but she can't seem to help it XDDD))

Eos sighed and shook his head. Addi was Addi. There was no use trying to explain why her usual clothes were... inappropriate? At any rate they didn't seem to fix her naive personality. "I don't really... clothes aren't my strong suit." yeah, sure he could understand she was talking about texture, but... clothes... =3= CLOTHES!!
