Leo sighed as he walked by the lake. He needed to relax, he was so stressed from training as much as he hates to admit it. That girl Septima is a great fighter, if she were spartan borne Leo knew his father would have arranged a marrige between them, but she's not. He stopped by the lake and removed his armor and shoes and dove in.

[Septima Severa]

Septima Severa had been training the whole day through, and needless to say she had become a bit sweaty and gross. So, as the day was coming to an end, she decided to bathe in the lake. Yes, there was a bathhouse, but she could only guess that by this time it was already swarming with warriors and socializing was not really her best trait...
Understatement.

So she'd taken off her practice robes, folded it neatly behind a rock and entered the water. She'd pinned her braided hair on top of her head and dove in as soon as she can, feeling the cool currents around her, cooling her body. She kept swimming, keeping her muscles warm and preventing them from cooling much too quickly and simply enjoyed the water washing away the sweat.

Just as she was about to go out of the water she heard the unmistakable sound of another body entering the water. Like a wild animals she froze, waiting it out and hoping it was just another animal, a bird maybe. She wasn't a prude, Rome took care of that, but she had no clothes on and felt entirely vulnerable.

Leonidus heard a splashing sound in the water he looked up from under water and noticed a pair of legs.

He emerged and smirked it was the warrior girl, Severa.

He had so smiled to himself, they are all alone in the lake.

He swam up silently behind her and pulled her under.

Severa's heart skipped a beat when she got pulled under water. Her frozen trance broke and she did the first thing that came to her mind, which was struggle and kick around her until she'd get away. She felt her foot connect with something and kicked away as hard as she could coming up and taking one huge breath of air.

She instinctively moved her hand to grab her sword, only there was no sword, there wasn't anything. She turned around to see a boy who she only knew to be sponsored by Ares as well, but she knew nothing more.

And another thing that Rome had taught her was that being alone with a boy was almost never a good thing.
Especially not without any clothes.

Leonidus smirked.

"You okay, I diddn't hurt you did I."

Leo swam closer to some of the rocks.

"Your Septima Severa, a fourht your under Ares correct?"

Leo smirked.

She's beautiful, but she has a very fiery temper. He was going to enjoy breaking her.

[Septima Severa]

Septime had her back against the rocks, and glared at the boy. She did not for one second believe his concern for hurting her. Not one second.

She reached behind her, to where she knew her clothes lay on the rocks and closed her hand around her gladius. With one swift motion she held the blade between the two of them, the blade pointing at his chest. "You stay away from me!" she snapped, stray hairs getting in her face, making her look a bit wild.

"I am a fifth year of Ares and so I have nothing to fear of his wrath, if I kill you now!"

Leo rolled his eyes.

"Calm down princess, it's not that big of a deal. I am also a student of Ares. If you kill me you'll have the spartan army comming after you, but thats aside the point."

[Septima Severa]

"As long as I'm in the Athenaeum, nothing can touch me without Ares' wrath," Severa responded. "Not even a Spartan army."

"And, as I recall, we're here alone, I have no clothes on and you just assaulted me. I have every right to not be calm, Prince."

Leonidus smirked.

"I woulnd't call that assualt. this however is a diffrent story."

Leo moved in and wrapped his arms around Severa's waist and pulled her in for a kiss.

[Septima Severa]

It took a few seconds for Severa to react to what was happening. She pulled away as quickly as she could and raised the sword to his chest again, though she wasn't strong enough to entirely push him away.

She stared him straight in the eyes, her gray ones full of hatred into his green ones. "Back when you were a pampered prince in Sparta you might've been able to get anyone you wanted, but not here. Not me." If voices could freeze, well, the world would be a lot icier.

Leonidus smirked.

"Well, i guess i'll just have to persure you properly."

Leonidus backed off turning around.

"When your done bathing meet met at the shore, let's train."

Leonidus swam bac to the shoreline and layed down staring at the sky.

[Septima Severa]

"You just try," Severa responded before pulling herself onto the rocks and clasping her chiton back into place at the shoulders. She put her belt into place and stuck the sword back in its scabbard before walking toward the point where the Spartan was.

"It is impolite to not introduce yourself, Spartan, although nothing can be said of your gallantry today," she snapped at him, keeping her distance and a hand at her sword.

"I already did my training, and the sun is setting, limiting visibility. What makes you so certain that I would fight you under these circumstances? Besides, fighting outside of the arena is forbidden."

Leonidus smirked.

"My appologies my lady, I am Leonidus, prince of the Spartans. And Mnem isnt here, she'll never know."

[Septima Severa]

"So now I am a lady? First you harass me and then I am your lady? You are quite full of hypocrisies my prince," the last words dripped with sarcasm.

"Still, I have already trained the whole day, hence my taking a bath before being rudely interrupted. What could possibly persuade me to fight again?"

Leonidus shrugged his shoulders.

"Lets meet up tomorrow then and train. Is the trainign square alright with you?"

Leonidus smirked he couldnt wait to teach this woman some manners.

[Septima Severa]

She walked past him, or pretending to do so anyway. she grabbed her sword and swung it, stopping about a cm from his neck.

"First lesson of battle, never let your guard down," she said with a smile. "Lesson number two, never trust a woman."

Leo smirked.

"Thats more like. it."

Leo side stepped and had his sword drawn and ready.

"No woman can be trusted, just not you."

[Septima Severa]

Severa smiled, "Well at least you're aware that I can't be trusted, it makes tricking you even more amusing."

"Because I am such a kind person, I'll let you go first, see if you can catch me little Prince."

Leonidus smirked.

"Whatever you say my darling princess."

Leon lunged foward tackling Severa to the ground.

[Septima Severa]

Septima took seconds to twist her body and roll away from his grasp. She smiled, "Not that easy your highness, not that easy."

"I thought that the men of Sparta were known for their skill in battle," she taunted as she lunged with her sword toward his stomach.

Leonidus dodged and grabed her arm forcing her back to his chest.

"Mmm, we are."

Leonidus held her there before pushing her away and lunging at her with his sword aimed at her waist.

[Septima Severa]

Septima brought her sword down to block Leonidus' thrust andgrabbed his wrist with her left hand, using the forces to turn around and slip through his defenses.

In one quick moment she kissed him on the cheek with a devilish smile and at the same moment retrieved a dagger on her belt with her left and and swing it toward his face, hoping to use his moment of surprise.

Leonidus smirked, he'd have to return her kiss a little later, he side stepped and dodged her strike. He spun around so he was begin her, he grabbed her and held his sword to her throat.

[Septima Severa]

"All right, you got me," Severa admitted grudgingly, pushing his sword away from her throat. "You can let me go any time now."

Leon smirked.

"Why on earth would I let you go?"

Leon spun Severa around and kissed her, and then let her go.

"to the victor goes the spoils."
