Re: A Night of Masks and Mystere.
Tarô took Eli-May's hand gently and guided her towards the crowd. It looked like his plan was succeeding so far.
When he found a fitting place he prepared to dance. Still holding her hand he bowed to Eli-May slowly with his arm behind his back. Then he stood up at a faster rythm and made Eli-May spin a bit.

Drink in hand - Tahi was feeling a lot more confident about herself. Okay. So Severa was wearing a dress - it must be proof that Tahi's good influence was wearing off on her. Tahi congratulated herself on that much.
Still - she was feeling rather left out. She was talking with a few of her fellow warriors, but then they all went dancing, and now she was by herself again. Not for the first time she cursed her brother's overprotective tendencies that had caused many of the male students at the athenaeum to... mysteriously... disappear. She secretly thought that Kal only tolerated Augustin, because he was pretty sure the boy was more interested in Severa than he was in Tahi.
Taking a long sip from her wine, Tahi leaned against a nearby pillar, a mischievous look coming in to her eyes as she began contemplating what she could do to liven this party up.

"I'm sure it is. Wow, you're really good at this, Miss," Eien admitted as she seemed to learn very quickly.
'Was that a sad smile? What happened?'
"Of course, Miss Kamoa. It's really splendid. Although I'd say that I can't quite make out the type of drinks they serve," the Lampad chuckled while he spun her once.
'I enjoyed it more now that you're here...'
There are so many things he wanted to say, but couldn't bring himself to do so. Kamoa was too delicate and beautiful. He doesn't want to scare her or hurt her in any way, trying to be careful with his words as he can be quite straightforward and probably insensitive sometimes.
"I hope you're enjoying the party, too."

Re: A Night of Masks and Mystere.
Kal breathed a sigh of relief as Severa was pulled away from him - off to dance or socialize, or something of the like. If he were in a better mood, he would have smiled at the thought of his sister's dear roommate having to go out and enjoy herself at a party. It would be good for the girl - in the same way that putting up with Tahi was good for her - stretching her limits and making her a better happier person. Just like Severa was a good influence on his often too silly sister. But alas - he was still upset over his newly dyed hair - and instead was just glad that he could slink back into the shadows again.

As Elijah twirled with her partner in the lead. Never before had she had this much fun and if there was one thing Elijah was good at it was dancing. She allowed the beat and rhythem to move her. She was a puppet, the music her master, and the masked stranger her puppet strings. She closed her eyes and smiled. This was turning out to be a wonderful night.

Tarô was enjoying the dance immensely. It turned out to be that her partner was a great dancer. Being Tarô a party animal, he loved dancing and why not, outstanding a bit while showing his skills. He kept following the rythm of the song with more complicated movements, being elegant and making little jumps and steps to the sides.

Re: A Night of Masks and Mystere.
As the two dance with synchronicity, Elijah couldn't help but wonder what the name of her partner was. She was far too caught up in the moment to care though. Right now it felt as if there was only the music , her, and her dance partner and nothing else existed. If only her friends back home could see her now! She kept on dancing to the rhythm and beat, and at the same time keeping in step with her partner. He was quite the dancer that was for sure, and he seemed to be enjoying himself as much as she was.

Jane nodded. At least not everyone here seemed completely and totally insane. "I agree. I've never been much of a party person."
She felt the breeze come up, and it made her think uncomfortably that she might be just as insane as the next person, because everyone here did magic and actually seemed to be able to...it unnerved her. Give her science any day over magic.

"Indeed I am, its been so long since I've had fun." Kamoa smiled and looked around and started to dance slower.
"Could we go outside maybe? Its getting quite hot."
She lied, the music, lights, and the voices of everyone in there were getting her dizzy. The poor Nephelae wan't used being around so many people ever since that bet.
"I could focus on you more when you speak to me."

"Oh I am fine," Severa replied a bit irritable. "Minus these garments, I don't know why women torture themselves in this, and the hair!" She reached out and undid the clip in her hair, tossing it aside as if it would burn her in her hand.
She shook her head, letting her hair flow free, albeit wildly. She started on taking off the little gemmed clips in her hair, being a bit more careful with those. "In any case," she said, wincing as the clip pulled at her hair, "I was merely getting some fresh air, is all."

"Sure," Eien said as he led her by the hand to a nearby balcony, closing the doors behind him.
The Lampad breathed in the fresh air. He'd say that it was quite tense inside, but not so outside. Here, beneath the starry skies that stretched eternally, embraced by the chilling yet refreshing evening's breeze, seeing the darkened fields and the surrounding structures of the Athenaeum under the moonlight...
...and a chance to be alone with Miss Kamoa.
Eien blushed a little under his mask. There could never be a better moment. Then something came to mind.
"Ah, pardon me, Miss Kamoa. You must be feeling tired," he said, "Would you like some refreshments? I can go and get you some drinks if you want..."

((Eien first you close the door, then plan on getting drinks...Hmmmm I'm scared...my baby!!Run Kamoa ruuuuun!!))
Kamoa nodded and replied."That would be very nice, thank you Eien."
She looked out at the moon, slowly breathing the cool air while she leaned closed to the balcony.

((o.O!! That sounded SO wrong >.<!
Eien: ...*speechless, runs to the corner and cries* OMG! What have I done?! OTL
Me: Don't do it on the balcony DDD<))
Eien nodded and returned inside.
Once at the refreshment table, all the bottles and the labels on them began confusing him again. What's with all the percentages on the labels? Alcohols? Wine? Uhh... Grapes?
He was stuck at the place again, trying to decide. No matter how much he browsed through them, he couldn't find any familiar drink, not even a single bottle of water.
But well, everyone seems to be drinking them and they still looked pretty fine.
'Hmm... I guess it'll be fun to try something...new?' he thought as he randomly picked a bottle of wine and poured them into two glasses. The clear, dark red liquid gave him a bad feeling, though.
When he's done, he quickly shuffled through the crowd and returned outside.
"Sorry I took so long. Here it is."

Re: A Night of Masks and Mystere.
Seeing her dancing partner was able to keep with the rythm Tarô foccused on Eli-May.
The black eyes in his mask looked like empty emotionless sockets and there was that disturbing mischievous smile fixed on her. Still he was a great dancer and while examining her he didn't stop moving across the ballroom. The sound of their steps became faster and the background blurred in a mixture of colors and distant laughters with the ever present music filling the air.

(( Hey you should have been paying attention to what you are writing XD))
"It's alright." Kamoa looked at the cup for a few seconds before taking it.
'Is that wine?'
Not knowing what Eien brought she sniffed it a bit before taking a small sip. She couldn't tell what it was.The flavor wasn't something she had tasted before, but she liked it.
"Hmm this is good." She smiled and another sip.
((no really what is Eien? Did you drug it? XD ))

Re: A Night of Masks and Mystere.
Adonia was a bit taken aback by Severa's sudden outburst and her flinging her hair clip aside, but she merely waited quietly, picking up the discarded hair piece reaching out to untangle one particularly stubborn piece that seemed to be pulling the human girl's hair.
"Begging your pardon m'lady" the siren replied managing to extract the little clip from her hair. "I meant no offense... I..." She paused unsure whether she should continue. She had only met the young lady once before and still knew very little about her... but then, nothing ventured nothing gained. "I merely noticed that your dance partner seemed to be making you uncomfortable."

Re: A Night of Masks and Mystere.
((lol I just never thought of it that way XD! In real life, I hate to leave doors hanging open... DDD:>))
The Lampad wasn't sure what it was, either. It smelt rather strong, but after taking a sip of it, he had to agree with his Mentor.
"True," Eien said as he sat down and crossed his legs, looking at the far off Athenaeum structures through the bars of the balcony railing. He tilted his head and looked up at Kamoa, illuminated by the moonlight, appearing very ethereal to him.
"You're beautiful, Miss Kamoa."
((Eien: ! NO!! *pouts cutely*
Me: Yeah, I have no idea what it is XD!Although I'm curios about what'll happen if they're drunk... :3
...*gets whipped again, twice harder*))

Re: A Night of Masks and Mystere.
((*evil laugh* Thank you for the info~))
There was a slight blush in her face when the young Lampad said that. She wasn't used having anyone compliment her before, it got her a bit nervous.
"I...thank you." Kamoa nodded her head not knowing what else to say or do.
If it weren't for the cool wind she would have felt hot.
((LOL Oh Eien you're getting a nice gift soon XD ))

"Then England must be really beautiful, too, if all the dresses are like these. I've heard compliments about the dresses people wear wherever I go," Sylphie giggled.
"Rich....? Poor?" Sylphie echoed.
Being a Charis, she doesn't really understand the concept of money. In the woods where she came from, it's not really required. Even after living four years in the Athenaeum, it was still pretty vague to her.
But she noticed the tone of sadness in Cedric's voice. She stopped dancing and asked worriedly.
"Cedric, are you alright?"

"Yes, it has his beauty. Like most of the countries, I guess." he said with a smile, hearing Sylphie's giggle.
Yes, rich and poor. It was degrating sometimes to see beggars on the corner of the streets, while fine young ladies walked past them with an arrogant look on their faces. Cedric's eyes gazed away for a moment before snapping back to reality.
"Uh- yes, I'm alright. It's just..." he sighed "Seeing people being indiferent to other people's difficulties makes me what to yell at them and warn about how our society has become. I don't know if you understand what I'm saying...." he said with a nervous laugh. Sylphaea wasn't from his time nor his place, so she was probably confused.

"No problem", the Lampad smiled back at her, "You're really a masterpiece from the Gods."
Eien felt much more at ease talking with her here. He just hoped that he didn't bring it too far, though. He wasn't even sure of his feelings.
He sighed, leaning back on one arm and lolled his head back, pulling at his collar a little so that the wind can cool his neck. He had to admit that these clothes were really stuffy compared to his normal chiton.
Eien decided to take off his mask as well so he can feel more of the cold. Whatever that drink was, it's starting to make him feel warm, a little hot, even. Nevertheless, he took another sip to satisfy his thirst.
"Miss Kamoa, it looks like we won't be going inside for awhile. Why don't you sit?" Eien offered, patting the empty space next to him.
((Eien: Awww, thanks a lot, Auntie Oni-san <:'3!!))

Kamoa smiled as her blushed became more red. She sat down next to Eien looking at the moon. The music from inside was faintly heard making her feel a bit more relaxed.
She leaned a bit closer looking at the detail of his mask.
'Reaper...'
"It makes me think of Lord Hades." She said tapping its horn.
'Death.'

"Lord Hades... The Underworld, huh?" Eien said, letting Kamoa hold the mask. He stared off into the distance from between the railing bars, thinking back about the place that was his home.
"...Did you miss it?"

"Don't apologize, Sylphie, it's not your fault." Cedric quickly said, kissing her hand gently "You are not ignorant. It's just a world you never knew."
He nodded and walked beside her to the refreshments table "Yes a break. Dancing tires a bit." he said with a smile.
